"Crew showed up on time and completed work in a professional, timely fashion. <br /> <br />Good management of sandblasting and painting process. <br /> <br />Kept site clean and cleanup was satisfactory and the end of the job.  <br /> <br />Business owner stood behind his work and made every effort to correct issues with 3-party product challenges (product failure is reflected in the quality rating). <br />"

"Alan returned my call immediately, asked a lot of questions, showed up for the job with all of the tools and equipment necessary.  He was polite, friendly and professional, and did a terrific job.  I am especially pleased as he walked into a situation where I had started the work - incorrectly and he was able to "fix" my mess.  I am out of hot water with my husband - and also have a contractor that we both trust and respect for our future home projects.  This guy is great! <br />"

"They were awesome. We had hail damage. They are amazing. The storm was in July, 2016. He came out in the beginning of August to do the initial check of my house. He talked to my insurance company. He was very good with the insurance people in getting my house fixed. It took a while to get done because in Colorado, you can't do some things in the winter. On good days, they would come out and work on repairs.  He subcontracted this stuff out because he looked for people who could do the job at a reasonable price. He is not one of those people that will hire just anybody. He makes sure that the job gets done and people want to work. He called when something came up. He came out to check. He was amazing. He was very informative, very professional and very responsive. I didn't have to deal with a lot of stuff like shady people and insurance scams. He took care of the insurance company and everything else. They were always on time. If they couldn't make it because of weather, you got notification. He would call in advance on the scheduled day, like two hours ahead, so I could get my dogs out of the yard."

"Pam Lousberg, the owner, met with me and listened to my concerns. From the beginning, she was easy to work with and honest about what her company provides. The payment was made in three installments: the first after the work began, the second after the work was completed, and the third after all inspections. She has a list of interior items to move before her crew worked to save them from accidentally falling or vibrating to a sad demise.  Her polite crew came and were careful with their materials, spreading tarps under and against the house to collect falling debris. They installed ice and water shield, new vents, and impact resistant shingles. The shingles were a free upgrade! Our city inspector said the roof is beautiful.  Afterwards, the crew swept, used a magnet, and double-checked for nails and such. While we are finding some, it is unlike roofing companies we've used in the past. <br> <br>The gutter men came and did a fine job. If you read articles on checking for good gutter work, these guys fit the bill! No curved, bowed, or scratched gutters were placed on the house. The color matched perfectly. When I did have a question, Jose, Pam's right hand man, came and answered all my concerns respectfully. He even went out of his way to kill a wasps' nest and place caulking on our driveway where the delivery truck had made a crack. <br> <br>Finally the painters came. Sweet and polite, they fixed fascia, painted trim, and did a wonderful job of replacing the screens from our windows. They even replaced screens not on our insurance scope for no extra charge! <br> <br>As my husband repeatedly said, "I love our roofing company!""

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Dove Creek, CO

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
