"Bill and his team did a variety of home repair and improvement projects on my 40+ year home Fall 2024. We a couple months. These included: repairs : replacement of wood sub flooring/framing in basement ceiling/upstairs, covering outside side door concrete steps on slate,and cresting a new sidewalk to lead up to it, cleaning front of house stonework and putting protectant on it, building new short frame and drywall in order to replace old closet doors, dry walling and painting interior room and more. What impressed me most were the professionalism and expertise of Bill and his team in every way. Quotes were detailed, and multiple options were provided when needed. I was kept informed of daily schedules and progress, the contractors were skilled, meticulous and excellent with prep and cleanup. "The screened-in covered porch attached to the back of my house had shown signs of leaking for awhile. This February, however, there were several storms that brought with them high winds and heavy rain. My porch?s small leaks became greater in number and magnitude.    Jim, from W.J.C. Construction Services, came over that same day and assessed the damage to the porch roof. He gave me quotes to either  1. just repair and replace the leaking  shingles, or 2. replace the entire porch roof. He explained the first choice would stop the leaks where they were visible, but that it might not correct the cause of the leaking. Choice #2 was to replace the entire roof.     I considered both options and chose to have him replace the entire roof. I am very glad I did. As he worked taking the old shingles off, he saw that the original roofing on the porch was not up to code. Had I chosen to have him just reshingle the original leaking ares, I would still be left with a roof that would leak again.    "
