"Travis came to look at the problem on a Tuesday morning. When I explained to him that lights in the house were flickering he became concerned and put my job on the top of his list. Once he arrived he immediately diagnosed the problem as many of the circuits in the box had deteriorated due to moisture in the line. He fixed the bad circuit in question and showed me the problem and explained that due to the age, oxidation, and rust that I may have future issues with the remaining circuits. I decided to replace the entire circuit panel and circuits as well as have a new meter with new wiring and drip lines installed on the exterior of the house, as the old meter was also corroded and detaching from the siding.. Travis returned early the following day at the exact hour we had agreed upon and worked a full eight hours to complete the entire job. His work is exemplary: very neat and methodical and whenever I had a question he would answer it in detail. His work was completed within the 2 days and came to approximately 10 hours in total. He supplied all the necessary materials and had everything he needed on hand in his truck.. I recommend him very highly as a skilled and experienced electrician located in Berkshire County."

"My appointment was early in the morning and Jess the technician, showed up on time. I reviewed the work that needed to be done, and Jess went right to business. Jess replaced wiring that was old because of the need of a ground wire with switch. In addition, Jess replaced the light switch with a timer, installed the fan, changed the duct work with an insulated duct, replaced the 1955 light with a 7" round watt LED light fixture. (love it) The only dilemma that we experienced was the fan was delivered by the supplier to my house, but the electrician did not bill the 1.00-hour time in waiting, I recommend using Paciorek Eclectic Inc. and will need more work done to my home. My experience was great and love the new Panasonic fan because the fan is very quiet. I am glad that someone else could climb up to my attic and perform the work. Again, I recommend hiring Paciorek Electric. Have a nice day."

"I couldn't be happier with Joe and his crew.  From first contact and the time we met to get an estimate I could tell right off the bat he knew exactly what he was talking about, and was very professional about everything.  I met with 2 other contractors, and even though Home Facelifters wasn't the cheapest, I knew that they would get the job done right and on time.  They dealt with all of the city inspectors and dealt with pulling all the permits, they helped me pick out many of the different items for the house like the cabinets, counters, appliances, flooring, and even colors for the walls.  There were some things that I thought I wanted a certain way but Joe was always willing to try and explain why another way might be better, which I do appreciate.  The payment process was very simple, we did go over our original estimate, but he had told me upfront there was a chance we would find things behind the walls that we couldn't predict, and I was prepared to possibly go over by a certain amount so that wasn't a problem.  The work was done very quickly, and the quality of everything is great.  I will definitely be using Joe and his crew on future projects of mine.

"This is our first experience with this vendor.  My husband was home on 7/10, and said the service man arrived within the window of time stated; and communicated throughout the visit, keeping him apprised of issues.  He repaired the identified problem, and identified some other areas within the condo that required future work.  All this was good.
The challenge came with pricing.  When I made the appointment by phone and asked for pricing, I was told there would be a $217 discovery fee; and further my understanding from that conversation was that if they discovered the problem, and the work was completed by them, that $217 would become part of the work performed, not an add on.  When in reality, we were charged a discovery fee of $256, and it was added on to the overall labor/material cost.  We did, however, receive a 10% Angie's List discount on the parts/labor - not on the discovery fee. 
When I called the 'office' number to discuss the difference in charge, I first asked with whom i was speaking, and the gentleman responded 'Mr. Response Electric' (no actual name) and there was a lot of background noise.  I asked with whom I should speak about bill related issues, and he agreed to talk with me about it.  I stated the quote of $217 for the discovery fee, which he agreed was correct.  Then I asked why we were charged $256?  He said that if it is a 'normal' discovery it is $217, but if it is a more involved discovery, it's $256.  This was never told to me in advance.  I then stated that this kind of discrepancy causes me not to trust quotes when I get them, including my understanding that the fee would become part of the labor/parts cost, not an absolute add on.  The gentleman did not seem the least bit concerned that we were unhappy.  He ultimately said if we used their services again there would no longer be a 'discovery fee' which of course, I don't believe we can count on based on this first experience and also that the invoice presented at the end of service performed has a box specifically related to discovery fees.  
It's too bad, as they did good work.
