I know that can get complicated quick in a home built in 1959, so I found Sturdy Woodworks through Angi’s List. Several other flooring companies took a look, but many of them are equipped for complete stair/floor finishing and replacement (mainly larger jobs) which is pricey. I can sand, stain, paint, and all that…but structural repairs; I needed a pro. Hart replaced 5 stairs treads as well as secured my risers and stringers better. Well, my stairs have never felt more solid!! He also did the first staining of the treads and gave me some tips for finishing and sealing them..which I’m in the process of doing now. I couldn’t have asked for a better result. Getting work done on your home can be stressful and a bit scary to say the least. However, I never felt that way throughout the whole process.
