"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"

"Duane installed a new cover over front porch cement. There are shoe marks that won’t come off and touch ups are needed. The original deal was to seal the new cover that ws never done. I had 2-3 appts with his and he failed to show up. Lastly, he suggested he would repair his work for 50.00 dollars or if he gets new business from me. Play to pay."

When we first started working together he explained important features in detail for both the short term and the long term, in addition to the budget and aesthetics, and it was really enjoyable to exchange ideas about how the patio would take shape to complement the house and the landscape. When the project took off, we were so impressed with the conscientiousness of his staff and they worked diligently to complete everything on time and in budget. Our lawn was restored perfectly and we were left with results more lovely than we imagined.
