"I called and scheduled an estimate a few weeks before we moved in to our new house to make sure it would be done on time for us to move with our dog so she could roam safely in the back yard. Kasey was very responsive to emails and helped with the quote and even came out to our house to do the initial survey herself. The quote was fine, so I signed the contract and we agreed on a date for the crew to begin. Unfortunately this is where things go south. We move in and the day comes (Saturday) and the crew never shows up. We received no prior notice of the delay or anything. Kasey was out on vacation and the crew supervisor made excuses and then finally after some back and forth he came out and put out flags in our yard, saying that the crew would begin on Monday. However, Monday came and went and no crew showed up, no work was done, still with no notice or communication or anything. We were pretty disappointed and frustrated at this point. We had to call them to get an explanation, which was pretty unsatisfactory. Finally, the crew came out on Tuesday and completed the job - 3 days late. I guess that isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things, but it was certainly frustrating for us and our dog after we had scheduled this far in advance. The quality of the actual work is great and the fences look perfect, but the communication of the whole team certainly left something to be desired. For our trouble they gave us a complementary gate, which was nice. If the communication had been better I would give them a B and if things had been done on time it would be an A."

"From start to finish First Fence was responsive & clear. They walked the property to discuss what we wanted. Made some suggestions for a better outcome, then sent an agreement with all of the details for us to sign. We paid a deposit in order to secure our time on their schedule, then paid the balance after the fence was installed. They also removed & discarded the old fence. All completed in one day. I really want to give 4.5 stars. A half star off for the length of time it took for them to come back and replace/adjust the gate, as the wood warped and it wouldn’t open. That took a month. All fixed now."
