Get matched with top doors (exterior) installers and replacers in Dumfries, VA

"Nova Exteriors recently replaced our 43-year-old patio door, which was in terrible shape, with a ProVia Endure door. Nova's representative, Sam Osta, arrived on time, gave us a thorough explanation of why ProVia's Endure door would work well in our home, stayed as long as we had questions, and didn't try to upsell us on "bells and whistles" we didn't need. Nova's crew did an excellent job of installing the door, working efficiently and cleaning up when finished. Now that we've used the door many times since the installation, we can attest to its ease of use, especially the dead-bolt safety feature at the door's bottom that operates with an easy touch of a shoe. And it looks beautiful as well. We highly recommend Sam Osta and Nova Exteriors for patio door replacement."

"Everything went AMAZINGLY WELL....FAST response on the submission. Within minutes they called me. They came out the same night to analyze my door and give me a quote. They scheduled the install for as soon as possible. The door and door frame were replaced and everything looks brand new. They are very friendly and professional. DEFINITELY HIRE THEM. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I will be calling them from now on when I need anything repaired....."

"I was very pleased with the work I received from PRESIDENTIAL exteriors. I had windows and door replacement performed at my home. The installers were on time and very professional. They were also polite and friendly. The work perform was top notch and completed ahead of schedule. Do you"

"Nova Exteriors is very easy to work with for a full-view storm door. We started the transaction via text. I provided pictures and rough measurements and they responded with options and prices. A person came to the house to verify dimensions. He arrived on schedule. Delivery and installation was sooner than they originally estimated (a good thing these days!) Installation went smoothly and the finished work looks great and operates perfectly."

"They were not able to fill our door space, and wanted us to make too many compromises"

"They did an excellent job on my storage shed roof. I am very happy with the results. Most roofers wouldn't do a remove/ replace on such a small job but they did and did it very well. My hat is off to them!."

"Awesome.
The quality was as good, or better, than described.   No disappointment.  You get what you pay for.
Email communications were prompt.
The doors were installed when they said they would be.
The installers were polite and timely.  It was a late Friday afternoon and yet the man continued to stay at our home offering useful advise about maintaining, and using, our garage doors.  The installers left no trash behind.
We are so glad that we dealt with this small company.

The technician called when he was at my residence and not the 30 minutes before arrival as they promised, but he was there on time as scheduled. I asked the technician how much to replace the bottom 2 rollers and he replied $100. I didn't think this was a good or fair discount but gave my approval fearing it would cost more to hire someone else to finish the job. After the technician left, I noticed some debris from the repair behind my car. I had to sweep it up. Out of curiosity, I called JW Home Improvement on Angies List Monday (9/29) which has garage door roller replacement deal as well but for $99. I talked to manager Paul and asked him if their deal included replacement of the bottom 2 rollers of the door and he replied 'yes'.

"It finally came time for us to replace two old wooden garage doors. First I did some research on garage doors in general. Lots of info on the Internet. Then I did extensive research on quality garage door contractors in my area. Used Yelp and other sources. Came up with a list of five quality candidates and sent details to each for bids. Eliminated 3 in relatively short order for various reasons. Came down to two candidates for the same two door options (either a Clopay or a CHI) -- Academy and another contractor. I focused on all decisioning points -- service, price, features, warranty, etc. Both were very close on price so that was not a discriminating factor. However, all the other factors came out very much in favor of Academy. Our sales contact, Dave McLaughlin was superb. Knowledgeable, responsive, helpful. The two managers at HQ -- John and Alan -- also very professional and responsive. So I did the order with Academy and selected the Clopay doors. Doors arrived in the time period they said. Scheduled the install. Jim and Coach (two HUGE guys!) showed up and did the install. They were even able to deal with the fact that my floor was off level just a shade. Made the doors fit well. Thanks guys! So far so good! Love the new doors! SO much better than the old ones in every way. Now I have to fix up my house b/c the garage doors are now the best part!"
