"I had a concrete patio installed, and I love it. Malco landscape is a very professional company from start to finish. I was kept up-to-date on everything as needed. The process was very seamless and Bob was wonderful to work with. I would recommend Malco landscape to anyone!!!"

"We are very late for the review. Bill actually completed our patio in September 2019, but we never got chance to leave a review. Here's an honest one. First of all, He was so punctual. With this i mean to say, we gave him a deadline to finish the patio within two weeks. He was before the deadline to finish ours and was always on time. I strongly recommend him to those who are looking for a service that needs to be done in a professional manner and in short time period. Definitely, depending on the amount of work. Secondly, the neatness in his work is mind blowing. He is way too experienced in his work, and more curious than us about what he's doing. Honestly, we received so many compliment from almost everyone who enters our patio. Thank you Bill, we are glad that we made the decision of working with you. Hopefully, to see you again!"

"Outstanding finish product. Looks better than new. This company is very responsive, timely, and offers a beautiful finish product at a very reasonable cost. Pager were losing sand and Jeff refilled and sealed patio to better than original condition. If you need a paver patio or repairs to your existing patio, this is the company to call."

"Mr. Finkbone completed the plans for the project in a very timely manner and submitted a professional estimate for the cost, including a detailed breakdown of expenses.  He then directed us to local tile and plumbing outlets to select the materials.  <br /> Workers (3) arrived punctually every day and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day.  They were friendly and courteous always - a pleasure to have in the house.  The workmanship on the tile, trim and vanity was very professional.  The project was completed in 9 days (ahead of schedule).  Cost was accurately adjusted for elements we chose which cost less/more than estimated.  We couldn't be more pleased with the final product!   Everything went seamlessly from start to finish.  We will definitely call Mr. Finkbone again for our next remodeling project <br />"

"<p>The top slab of one of my steps to my door was loose and came completely up when you stepped on it from one side.  We noticed it Saturday and I e-mailed Randy that night.  Sunday morning, I had a response and he had me call him Monday morning.  He swung by that same day and said it would be an easy fix (a 2x4 under the stair had broken).  He said he would bring someone by that afternoon.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Sure enough, a few hours later, Randy and one of his employees came by and fixed the stair in less than 15 minutes.  He had me stand on it, go up and down it, to ensure I was satisfied with the work--which I was.  Just got the bill a couple of days later and needless to say, I am very satisfied.</p> <br />"

"The deck and patio that Brian and his team installed turned out great. Brian also created planting beds around both with the excavated soil and was able to route downspouts under the patio out to the lawn. Clean up when they were done was meticulous."

"It went fine, however, I was told the job would take roughly 8 hours for 1 person. It ended up being 15 hours, partly with a second handyman. So it was twice as much as we were expecting, and the price is already pretty high. Also, the second handyman brought an extra piece of siding that was not needed. We had already purchased a piece and had it painted, ready to install. So that was an unnecessary added expense. But I guess it's ok as we'll probably need it at some point in the future. What was really weird is that the same mistake happened when we had a piece of siding replaced a few years ago! Overall, they did a good job though, despite the cold weather."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Duncannon, PA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
