"Mike Reimer, owner of Mid-State Stone was here to install River Rock over our 300 sq ft concrete Lanai. The object was two-fold. 1) enhance the look of the floor and 2) to cover a lengthy crack that was increasing in size. Mission accomplished. Very small pebbles (3/16") were expertly troweled into clear epoxy to provide a smooth finish. Terrific job. Only took 4 hours including the power wash and clean-up. 24 hours to cure. Mike and his helper, John arrived on time and worked straight through to complete the job as he said they would. Personable and polite. He also does garage floors, driveways, pool decks, concrete repair, and clear coating. He's been in business 35 years. Licensed and insured. Couldn't be happier with the end result."

"The entire project went very well. Consultant Bob Eversman was very prompt and thorough for our first meeting. He advised that colors are limited due to production cutbacks as a result of Covid. We decided on a color, but using the online tool supplied in the brochure that allowed us to see our house with one or two other colors, we decided on a color change later, and there was no problem. The "team" came right on schedule, and we were amazed at how professional and diligent they were in completing our 1700 plus sq ft home in one day. We were visited the next day by a gentleman who checked on everything and decided that we needed one more nail sweep. This is the one caveat I would mention. We have continued to find roofing nails, so I would caution the homeowner to make certain nail removal is thorough no matter who your roofer may be. We were contacted several times through the process to make certain things were going well, and the one or two times we mentioned something, it was taken care of immediately. Warranties were provided immediately as well. The dumpster was removed on the 2nd day following completion of the roof. We are happy to have a new roof, and pleased to have one that looks very nice. It was done promptly and at a fair price. Reroofing isn't something a homeowner looks forward to, but you will do yourself a favor if you choose Stratus Roofing. c"

"They had a very clean operation. We were very amazed at how they put the original deck and pressure wash it and then spray a base coat and they put the pattern down (a huge roll) then they spray on a substance that has some small rocks in it that makes it look like a brick surface and they add another outer-coating to seal it. It is color coordinated to the outer part of the house and that makes it nice."

"Mr. Litle is personable, knowledgable, and richly experienced in his field. He gave us an estimate for removing the concrete, and his son and a helper came and removed the concrete with heavy equipment and carted away the debris. Mr. Litle was here to observe much of the work. The job site was left clean and neat. Of equal or even greater importance, this man, whose company is focused on pouring concrete, strongly advised us NOT to have the section just removed re-poured. On seeing what was happening beneath the remaining section of our driveway, he advised us to have crushed stone set in place instead of concrete. He also believed that if we drilled into the existing concrete to install rebar to help stabilize a new pour, the old concrete might more quickly deteriorate. He is the ONLY contractor to so advise us, and his reasons made sense. We took his advice and are glad we did. We would use his company again in a heartbeat. <br />"

"<p>Caruthers Concrete Curbing was the only one with the Better Business Bureau. I looked no further. Big mistake!! Their website and estimate were professional; however, little did I know that his workers were not experienced or fully trained. Not only that, he never came out to survey our yard! First, the workers had trouble adjusting the color of the concrete. Secondly, the mixing was a shovel of sand, a handful of fiber, and a few sprays of water. Determining the consistency of the concrete was guess by golly, squeeze and spray. Questionable! When they dug the concrete trench, they did not level it so that the concrete would be grass level. Then, they didn’t have the proper tools to stamp the pattern. Once I instructed the worker how to improvise, they did a good job. Then they left before they had completely cleaned up extra dirt, grass roots or extra concrete. Caruthers Concrete Curbing sent two workers the next day to spray on sealer and finish cleanup. Again they left the extra dirt and concrete for me to cleanup. My mistake; I didn’t talk to any of his clients who had curbing done! When you do don’t just talk to one, talk to many! Also, have the contractor review your site and answer any questions you may have. Get everything in writing! Good luck!! </p> <br />"
