"Repaired and updated electric service (tree damage). Replaced deck supports and installed wiring for hot tub. They worked with local code enforcement to get the installation approved. Happy with work and cost. Deck support replacement was a difficult job."

"George was amazing. He took a dirty job and made it happen to bring my family peace of mind. George stayed until 10:00pm at times to make sure the job was completed for us due to our challenging work schedules. We love George and wouldn't hesitate to bring him back for the remaining work.

"Because a storm brought down a giant tree that pulled down our power line, we needed service from Duquesne Light, but we also needed the immediate help and advice of an electrician. Renaissance Electric, in the person of Eric, responded immediately to my phone message (which was before regular office hours) and stayed in text contact with advice throughout the day until things were resolved. Enormously helpful!"

"I hired Kloock's Electric to install a television antenna. They came out to do an estimate and we discussed equipment options. I decided on an antenna and amplifier and requested that they install the antenna strapped to a chimney. I received a quote for the work and equipment costs. They ordered the equipment and came out to install it when the equipment arrived. The install went well, and it was apparent that the installer had done this before. They were professional and courteous."

"Purchased the deal on Angie's list for 4 hours of labor for $196. They were busy but able to fit me into their schedule. Two guys came for 2 hour and got everything done in a timely manner. Were very professional and I am absolutely going to call them for my next electrical project!

"After another electrician was a twice time no show we took a chance finding an electrician on the internet. The three person crew showed up on time and were pleasant and professional! Ruth, John and Randy did an excellent job and were very clean! Very knowledgeable and provided lots of advice. They will hate to have another great review, because of how busy it makes them! They deserve any new business customers as a result of this comment. A real pleasure to have them working in our home!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in East Vandergrift, PA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
