"I had some roof leaks for a while as well as weakened plywood so finally bit the bullet and decided to take action for a new roof. I called four different roofers, all well reviewed in Angie’s List. Keith Gauvin was the only of the four I was able to talk to immediately. One of the others called the next day and the other two were never heard from. Keith gathered the information from me and sent his foreman, Jonathan, out to evaluate the job within a few hours. I indicated that I wanted to start as soon as possible and would appreciate a quick response regarding the estimate. Jonathan and I discussed where the plywood, shingles and dumpster would best be placed to minimize damage to the driveway and lawn. I believe it was the next day that said estimate was sent. I knew what my neighbors and relatives had paid for their roof replacements so had a rough idea of what I thought the price should be. Keith’s estimate was in the ballpark so I hired him. A portable bathroom was dropped off the day before work was to commence, a nice touch as I wondered where the workers would take care of such matters during the 10-11 hour workdays. I have a number of large, old shrubs around the house which I was anxious to protect. Jonathan, the aforementioned foreman, saw to it that large tarps hung from the roof to protect all shrubbery. They put blocks of wood under the dumpster in order to prevent damage to the driveway. Work began the first day on time at 7:30am. Communications from this point were with Jonathan, who clearly had successfully passed an Emily Post manners course which I’m sure was attended along with Mr. Gauvin as evidenced by the polite and expeditious communications I had with them. As the house is large with three stories and a double garage, it was a big job and took two days to complete. All existing shingles were torn off and a good amount of the roof had to be replaced with plywood. The five or six man crew worked very hard under the supervision of Jonathan. There was no damage to my shrubs; the tarp did its job. Their cleanup was excellent including picking up any nails and using a leaf blower for pieces of shingles and wood. The job was completed late on a Saturday; the dumpster and portable bathroom were removed on Monday. The next day, I noticed a wooden brace for one of my garage planters was gone. After notifying Mr. Gauvin, Jonathan came over, took measurements and returned at another time to replace it. During a heavy rainstorm a few weeks after the job, I checked for leaks in the attic. It was dry as a desert. Excellent job!"

"I was blown away by Weathertite Roofing in Bethlehem. I used them in November. I called and was surprised to reach a polite office manager after one ring (which is always the case whenever I call). They operate out of a well-run office with several employees.The company has been in business for over 20 years, it is a very smooth, well-oiled machine.The owner, Scott Fennelly, evaluates the job and comes prepared with satellite images and measurements of the roof. On the scheduled roofing day, an army of polite, hard-working, cheerful, considerate, men arrive punctually very early and my small roof was done in one day. The permits, dumpster, materials etc. are all taken care of, and the clean up is done with a magnet to pick up stray nails which can get in car tires or lawn mowers. A foreman is assigned to the job. If only all companies worked like this! It is an unbelievable hands- on, old -fashioned well-managed company with strong customer and work values. Their prices are reasonable and compatible with other companies.After the roof was done, I noticed the area around Bethlehem has many of their signs out in front of homes they work on. When I raved about them, it turned out Weathertite is well-known in the community to be excellent. There is a reason the company does most roofs around here! They really went the extra mile! I would give them more stars if I could! Truly, do not hesitate to use them."

"Excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Owner Chris was very responsive and addressed all my questions. His crew arrived early and did a complete tear down and new roof in 1 day. Careful attention to removal and replacement shingles under step flashing, even caulked the downspouts removed/replaced during roofing. End of job Chris went around to check the work. "Lost some ridgeline shingles during a recent storm. Called a few roofing repair outfits. Albana, in the midst of coronovirus and with a limited crew, made it the next day for the quote AND repair. They really went above and beyond and it was a huge relief to get the job done. However, even if they WEREN'T able to make it the next day, Sonny and Al were fantastic and we'd still recommend them. Professional, quality work. A family business. Will definitely call them again for any roofing needs."

He had always been at the top of my list and I had seen his outstanding reviews on Angie's List. <br /> His initial consultation was an hour long. He thoroughly explained the Owens Corning system and completely outlined the process that would occur on the day of the installation. He was so professional and knowledgeable that I decided to not contact any other roofer. He also honored the 5% coupon on Angie's List which was very much appreciated. <br /> He and his crew arrived promptly at 7:00am and the job was completed by early afternoon. <br /> The crew was extremely hard working and their attention to detail was superior. "I decided to go with Millstream because of the reviews on Angi and other websites. As contracted, Millstream replaced my roof in a day and installed a ridge vent. Supervision of work and post installation inspection was poor that I had to request a replacement inspector. I had to inform them of missed gable vent closure; loose shingle, wavy ridge vent line. Most importantly, I had to research; and inform them that a Ridge vent needs multiple soffit openings and I had only 1. They agreed it was a miss and said they would fix the issue so I could “BREATHE PROPERLY” in my house. And they charged me additional $850. Nonetheless I am currently enjoying my new roof!"

"<p>They were on time every morning at 7am sharp.  Most of the roof had 2 layers of underlayment which needed to be removed.  One part of the roof had 4 or 5 layers which needed to be removed.  They were here for 4 days and the site was spotless each evening.<br /> <br />I was amazed at how well the work crew worked as a team and their enthusiasm was appreciated.  For the most part, they treated my home as if it was their own.  The work was very hard but I got the strong opinion that they truly liked their job.<br /> <br />Once all roofing material was removed, plywood was put in place over the 1825 metal roof for a smooth surface.  Ice and Water sheets then had to be put over the entire roof, due to the 3/12 pitch, with 3 tab shingles put above them.  Once the roof was completed, 6" gutters were installed by A-1 Gutters in Manchester in a 3 hour timeframe.  Their work was likewise fast and flawless.<br /> <br />DZEN's quote came in within the same range as other roofing companies but, contrary to the experiences of other owners of historical homes that I know, the job was performed in a relatively flawless manner.  More importantly, Dean and Tom listened to every question I had about the 200 year old roof and accommodated my concerns every time.<br /> <br />Historical homes are often difficult to work on.  My house has been totally renovated over the past 3 years and I waited to have the roof done last because I knew it was going to be a very big undertaking.  But DZEN Residential Roofing made it seem like an easy job though I truly know it was not.<br /> <br />For personalized care, attention to duty, and overall quality... they hit it out of the ballpark on this one.</p> <br />"
