We hired this exceptional shop to replace all the old knob and tube wiring (along with switching out a number of light fixtures and installing several ceiling fans) in our 120-year-old Victorian home – a challenging job that a couple of other electricians didn’t feel confident undertaking. Owner Jack McCurdy personally came to size up the job and give us a detailed estimate, and his professionalism, courtesy and extensive knowledge sold us. What was originally thought to be a two-week job was finished in six working days as foreman Joe Costain efficiently deployed his crew and brought in a second crew on a few days to expedite the work. Joe was great at communicating what kind of activity we could expect day-to-day, especially as both my wife and I are working from home fulltime during the COVID pandemic. He and the crew checked in frequently on our preferences, minimized the number of holes in the ceilings and walls (including avoiding harming our wallpaper in a couple of rooms altogether), and cleaned up well at the end of every day. Jack’s estimate was competitive and the final accounting accurately included the additions and subtractions we agreed to during the job. We feel so much better that we’ve finally eliminated the risky knob and tube wiring and updated the entire house’s electrical system. "It went well. I have hired this company before and they did a good job last time so I turned to them again. I originally hired a handyman to uninstall a broken ceiling fan and install a new one . Both units had lights. The lights on the broken fan worked but the fan did not. When the handyman completed his work the new fan worked but the lights did not. He tried to fix it but couldn't. He said the wiring in my ceiling was the problem and I needed and electrician. I hired P.W.DiMasi who sent 2 electricians out to investigate the problem. They found there was nothing wrong with the wiring in my house but rather that the fan was NOT wired correctly by the handyman. Also the fan was NOT installed correctly using the correct rated electrical box to support the weight of the fan. They removed the fan, installed the correct rated fan box, reinstalled the fan and wired it correctly. Then they checked all the screws on the fan to be sure they were correctly tightened, balanced and tested everything. When they were done everything worked perfectly. The electricians were professional, polite and respectful and easy to work with. They even vacuumed the floor when they were done. I will definitely use this company in the future when I need electrical work done."

"Just call these guys. There. Done. James and his brother, Daniel, came out to move a wall installed TV. I wanted it lower and the job entailed moving two outlets lower as well, then patching the drywall. These two were great: very knowledgable, incredibly professional, highly skilled, very friendly, cleaned up over and over while working (the mom in me LOVED that) and charged a very fair price. I felt they went above and beyond what most installers would do and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the job. Even better? They will come weekends and evenings at no extra charge. I highly recommend them. Just had to come back and say that, because Daniel did such a fabulous job repairing my drywall and painting after my TV was moved, I hired him to come and repair drywall with water damage and repaint that as well. "I bought my unit from NETR in 2018. It worked fine until we discovered it wasn't blowing any cold air. I made the big mistake of hiring someone a family friend recommended and they diagnosed it incorrectly and then basically disappeared on me. Anyway, it took a few weeks but they repaired it today and I was impressed with their courtesy and getting the job done very quickly and successfully. I felt like I was being dealt with honestly.
