"Brian and his crew are top notch! They painted the exterior of our home last summer, and then the interior just a few weeks ago. They are knowledgeable, diligent, friendly and professional. Both jobs were fairly large and complex. I would highly recommend them for any paint project."

Customers say: True professional

"Could not have been better! Excellent work He was very neat, organized and the finished area looks terrific. The lady who came to do the estimate was on time and polite. The area that was painted had lots of edge work that needed to be done very neatly and it was all very well done. This company is very "busy" and I had to wait a bit to get it done but having done so it was well worth it! I cannot find enough words to review this excellent company. I will absolutely ask them again to do my next interior painting job."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in East Syracuse, NY

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
