"I met the owner, Harlan and his designer Brian, late November or early December and we looked the property over. Several things I knew I wantred and pointed out some problem areas. Nothing could get done until spring so there was no hurry in design. a month or so later they came to me with a preliminary design and with ideas for the problem areas. We made some changes and modifications and they came back with final plans, materials list and cost. I thought the price was reasonable and gave them a 50% deposit. As soon as the weather broke they started work. The crew was cery experienced and knowledgable and did great work. After a few days I added more work without asking the price because I knew it would be fair and reasonable. It was. I couldn't be happier with the experience.
