Prior to agreeing to pay for the job, I asked the business to give me a breakdown of what I would be paying for the work (I.e. replace the post, pick up materials, disposal of old mailbox, etc.) I did not receive a response after that. I make it a practice not to pay anyone until I see a breakdown of what I’m paying for. While I cannot accuse him of doing so, I did not want a situation in which someone would go out, pick out a mailbox for me, take off the old one, put the new one on the old post and leaving me to deal with the disposal of the old one for $450. Just didn’t work out for me with this contractor."

Art called back the same day, we discussed what was needed and he called again the next day with a detailed estimate. The water heater had to be special ordered which was to take about a week. Four days later, the heater along with an expansion tank and drain pan were installed for the price estimated and the old unit hauled away. Excellent workmanship and service.
