I have 20+ years of experience. I respond to calls as quickly as possible. I use subcontractors very little. I have only one job going on at a time, therefore I am on the job and available to my customer. I also specialize in Ugly Roof Stain Remover and Exterior Cleaning with no pressure so therefore does not cause damages to property like a pressure washer.

"Buyer beware!!! I engaged Gallop Roofing to repair some issues with my roof that were discovered as part of a home inspection. This home is not my full-time residence, so I was not able to inspect their work once the job was finished. Since Gallop was highly recommended by my realtor, I paid them for their work once the job was finished. The invoice from Gallop specifically said that they had “walked roof and seal over any exposed or low nailed nails”. About 2 weeks later, I arrived and got onto the roof to inspect for myself. I was shocked to see so many nail heads exposed. I also noticed a water leak in 5 different areas. When I contacted Gallop roofing to come to my home as soon as possible to help repair the leak in my roof, and to re-seal the nail heads they had no sense of urgency and placed me #41 on a list. Two weeks later, when I asked how soon they would be able to come out to my home, they said that there were a number of other customers ahead of me and that I was #41 on the list. Attached are photos of the nail heads and the ensuing water damage after a rain storm. After numerous complaints, they have still refused to make things right. I would NOT consider hiring Gallop Roofing unless you are willing to get up on your roof to inspect any work that they do or if you expect their work to be done in a timely fashion."

FAQs for roof cleaning service projects in Edenton, NC

To find a reputable ice dam removal company, check verified customer reviews and ensure they have the proper credentials. Look at online testimonials and consult reputable agencies like the Better Business Bureau to validate their service record. Contact the company to ask about their experience, hourly rates, and safety practices. This helps ensure you're hiring a pro with proven expertise and a solid track record to protect your home from ice dam damage.

Ice dams can cause extensive damage that jeopardizes your entire roof structure. They can lead to issues like attic condensation, broken roof sheathing, persistent leaks, visible wall water stains, mold in your attic insulation, sagging drywall, rotting attic framing, and roof collapse. This damage compromises your home's integrity and requires immediate professional attention to ensure proper repair and safety.

Most insurance policies don’t include coverage for the removal of ice dams since it's considered preventive maintenance. However, damage caused by ice dams—such as roof collapse, extensive water damage, or structural failures—may be covered by your policy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams. Use a proper roof rake from the ground or a safe ladder—never climb onto an icy roof. Also, consider addressing any inadequate attic insulation that may cause heat leakage. Promptly clearing snow minimizes risks and helps maintain a safe, durable roof.
