"Greg and his entire team were great to work with in all stages of the project start to finish. We had a very comprehensive project performed, our asphalt driveway replaced with concrete/graded (asphalt was crumbling for years), our garage slab replaced with new concrete/graded (massive cracks from previous owner water damage), front walk way replaced with cobblestone brick (concrete walk was sunk/too steep) and our front steps also done in cobblestone brick. Greg is very knowledgeable on his trade, very credible, highly personable and straightforward, which we really appreciated during the bidding process. Crosstown’s bid was fair for the project scope (not the highest by any means, nor the lowest) and they were the only vendor we entertained (5+) in the Twin Cites MN area that guarantees their work on concrete and brick work and publishes/encouraged us to contact previous clients as references. We viewed and spoke to multiple previous clients around the metro and their reviews and Crosstown’s workmanship were great. Planning for the job all summer was great with open and timely communications (calls, emails, texts) with Greg. The Crosstown demo and concrete/brick crews were very punctual, professional, kind and treated our home site as if it were their own (they went out of their way to not damage any landscaping, garden beds, structure, etc.). We had a great time watching and interacting with the crews during the week long project. We would defiantly have Greg and his teams back over for lunch if they were in the area. The project totally transformed our home’s appeal and functionality. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to work with Greg and the Crosstown Concrete teams. Thanks again Greg."

"It went really well. Al and Corey are both fantastic to work with. I moved into a house where the yard was in rough shape. I talked to several different landscaping companies and decided on Goodfellows after the initial meeting. Al had such great suggestions for tweaking the design and thinking about the project, that I knew I would regret it if I chose someone else. The customer service is really good. Many contractors I have worked with are almost impossible to get answers from, but Al was always on top of everything I asked. "We used L&R for a very extensive renovation project to remove overgrown flower beds, reclaim portions of yard that the previous owners had turned into paths and terrace, remove trees, replace rotted steps and realign the irrigation system. They turned a badly neglected back yard into a beautiful oasis that looks clean and abounds with blooming plants and shrubs. Since we border a wetland, their plan called for animal-resistant foliage in an easy-to-maintain installation. Throughout the project their staff was exceptionally helpful, and took care to protect the areas not being renovated, and to clean the jobsite every night when they were done. We were very impressed with the design they presented; the work that they performed; and the diligence and hard work that their staff performed. We have used L&R for prior houses we've owned, and they continue to be an excellent company for all aspects of landscape design and implementation."

"This company is one of those family run businesses you seldom hear about yet they provide terrific service. They have cared for our lawn for many years through fertilization and aeration and the results have always been excellent; but this year a number of things have happened that kept me from doing any mowing or raking whatsoever since early September. The grass was unbelievably long and every leave that fell from more than 20 mature trees and bushes had been compacted into the semi-frozen lawn. We dreaded the real possibility of snow coming before being able to get things all cleaned up. We called AAA and they came out within two days and took care of everything! It was a HUGE relief. Mike and Eric are very friendly and service minded. Their evident goal is always good work and customer satisfaction which is what we have been accustomed to from their years of service to us."

We hired them in 2020 to remove a concrete slab and surrounding river rock, grade and install a new paver patio at our home. Debbie was personally involved from beginning to end. Her bid was clear, detailed and reasonable. The entire team was knowledgeable, polite and responsive during the week long project which was completed right on time. "We have had Chris do a number of smaller jobs for us over the last 5 years.  We have always been extremely pleased with the quality of his work.  The shoreline rock wall was by far the biggest project he has done for us.  We couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome!  In order to get the huge rocks to the shore, our yard was pretty torn up in the process, as was the sand beach. Not only does the rock wall look fantastic, but they put the yard and beach back in better shape than it was in the first place.  In addition, Chris is friendly as well as professional and really cares about our input and suggestions.  We will hire him again!
