He gave me a bid on the spot which seemed very reasonable. He clearly trusted his team to work with me, and was he ever right! They were great! "This company impressed me from the first phone call. This good impression grew with the prompt arrival of the owner at the time appointed for an assessment and estimate. He asked questions about what I wanted, answered my questions about the health of my trees and what could/should be done to deal with the problems with them.
On the day set for doing the work, the crew (including the owner) arrived right on time and set to work quickly and efficiently. Working on my small, steep lot with utility wires very close to the trees must have been a challenge, but this team brought down some quite large, very high limbs without incident. That Douglas fir is TALL but didn't seem to be a problem for this group. (They also followed safety measures at every step.) And now I don't have to worry about very large limbs crashing down during one of out windy nights. Looks much better too.
The plum (poor thing) looks much better and now has a chance to grow in a more natural pattern. Even with problems, its foliage is lovely and it's beautiful in spring bloom. The Japanese maple looks especially beautiful now with the deadwood cleared out and the natural shape revealed. And it no longer brushes the roof or droops onto my shoulders when I walk past it to get to my car.
The cleanup this crew did was extremely impressive. Every bit of debris was collected, chipped, or hauled away. Debris was blown from the driveway and walkways. And they did all this without damage to the plants beneath the trees!
So, I was impressed from start to finish. My trees look great, my yard and plants were unscathed. I feel that I received high value at a very reasonable cost."
