"I submitted a request to Angie s List as I was getting ready to sell our house. I was looking for a pool company to make some repairs to our pool. When I spoke to the representative from Angie s List, it was mentioned that we were moving out of state. I was told that Angie s List could assist with that as well. In response to that conversation, I received a call from Erik with Nationwide Van Lines. He represented himself as an employee of an A-Plus company that has been in business for 25-plus years. I asked Erik to give me a quote for a full-service, out-of-state move. I was very happy with the quoted price and was encouraged by Erik to go forward with a Risk Free Deposit of $1,700.00. At the time, I was only able to pay $500.00. In hindsight, I consider that a blessing! Erik emailed me the moving quote and asked that I electronically sign it at my convenience and send it back. He had already taken payment of $500.00 for a Risk Free deposit. For the record, I never did electronically sign the moving estimate. As I was contacted through Angie s List, it didn t even cross my mind that they could be scammers! About a week later, I was contacted by Brandon. He advised me that Erik had been terminated and Brandon was my new contact person. Never was it mentioned by Erik or Brandon that there was a 72-hour cancellation window. This shouldn t matter, however, as I did not electronically sign the moving estimate! As the move was approaching, I decided to call and pay the balance of my deposit. After a gut feeling, I decided to do a little more research before paying my balance. When I googled Nationwide Van Lines, I noticed a different phone number and address. I decided to call the 800 number that came up with my Google search. They answered as Nationwide Van Lines. I advised them I had an upcoming move and that I would like to work out a few details with them. When the customer service representative couldn t find my info, she advised me that I had been scammed. The real Nationwide Van Lines receives calls almost daily with horror stories of people who have been scammed by the company Nationwide Movers. The representative advised me that Nationwide Movers has been using the reputable name of Nationwide Van Lines to try and get business. They are known for lowballing the estimate to get the business, and then they greatly increase the price and use a third-party mover to complete the work. Sometimes, even holding your stuff hostage. She asked that I file a complaint with the Department of Transportation, which I did. The DOT number is for a company called EZ Moving Group DBA Nationwide Movers."

"Hello my name is Mitch. When a company does as good a job as this one they deserve a good report. I hired this company to move the contents of my motorcycle dealership. It took four tractor trailers in all. I'm not going to lie, I was reluctant in using a company like this but in the end, I couldn't have chosen a better company. They were very professional to deal with and their services were above par, I would say. Nothing in my transport was damaged. I definitely got my money's worth. I just completely recommend this company all the way around. They are a good quality outfit."

"Office staff (Jennifer) was very professional, patient with my many questions and easily contacted by email, text or phone call. Moving team (Lazaro) was very knowledgeable, experienced, intent on making sure everything was handled properly and very attentive to detail with re-doing the contract and pricing due to unforeseen changes we decided to make. "First, this was a pretty normal moving experience. Not the best ever, but not the worst in my experience either. Price and flexibility was very good. I got to pick my delivery date, not my previous experience. I paid for hours of labor, which started when they arrived and not when they left the business (or got donuts, coffee, lunch, etc). The crew was friendly and smoke free. But there are some areas they could improve on: At the time of the bid, I was told that the job was big enough they would be starting at 9 to get the packing done. Then it moved to 10:30. They actually arrived at 11:30. Packing did not get completed before end of day. The next day was supposed to be final item packing and loading (they use trailers, not a semi). They arrived at the expected time but did not get finished packing, let alone loading. Third day they finished packing, loading and delivery. It was a long day. Part of the problem was that they did not have enough people scheduled for the job. The first day had the full 4 people but only 3 came after that. when it looked like they would not make the deadline, they did bring in extra help at the end of the day. Another area that could use some improvement was the "if we take it apart, we reassemble it." My backyard umbrella was not reassembled and they lost the bolts and forgot two parts. Finally, about a fifth of the boxes are totally unlabeled. This has made unpacking difficult as those boxes ended up scattered all across the house and none have been in the room I needed them to be in."

They moved quickly and efficiently, knowing I was paying by the hour, but never once sacrificed care or quality. They were kind to my mom (who was helping me out), and so sweet to my two dogs too. If you’re planning a move, ask for Rico and Reyes by name. They went above and beyond, and I want their team to know what a fantastic job they did.
