"The install technicians showed up very promptly after a reminder call from the office telling me they were on their way. The technicians were both extremely professional and polite, even though it was the coldest day of the year to do the install in the sleet and ice. They worked straight through, almost 11 hours, and got my return ducts installed and got the new 4 ton A/C outside, and a new thermostat. They even vacuumed my upstairs and swept off my stairs leading up, even though they were a mess before they got here! We saved about $2600.00 since Carrier is running a special giving all Interstate's customers a free furnace with a full install. We got easy financing via their website (all Interstate customers get 12.9% financing, no matter what the credit card shows your interest rate to be online!) which is good for those with 'average' credit. You can get a much better rate with excellent credit I'm sure. I can genuinely say that these guys are the most professional service technicians I've ever dealt with, and they truly had a great deal of expertise and knowledge in the system and their work. They cleaned and vacuumed the entire area after finishing, showed me everything, explained everything and I had them come back out and connect the bathroom ducts to the main unit (they had never been connected in the 11 years I've had the house!) for an additional $250 (totaling 6500 for the entire new unit and these bathroom ducts). I had one issue where the main duct that ran off the furnace in the attic had become disconnected from the furnace itself, and called them on a Friday - they were out the following Monday and completely patched it up, suspending the duct from the roof to keep the pressure from disconnecting it again (this was not their fault - it was the kind of ducts the original installer had used when they put in the central unit - it didn't have the solid steel connector which Interstate prefers to use). I would definitely contact them again in the future, and would recommend them to anyone. Their prices are a bit more expensive than other companies, but you truly TRULY get what you pay for (I know - we've had other companies come out and didn't do HALF the quality of work these guys do!). Thank you, Interstate! It's so nice to sleep with peace of mind that your central unit won't break down on you - it's already saved us about 80 dollars per month in the winter - can't wait to see what it saves us this summer!"
