"This company did such an extraordinary job I have never been so impressed. I have a three-story house that badly needed to be repainted. Dany and his team certainly delivered. My home is so clean and shiny it looks better than when we brought it brand new."

"I contacted them and described the job that I needed a bid on. We have a 600 square foot office with 3 rooms. We agreed on the price and time of service. He and I both arrived 15 minutes early and inspected the area to be painted. He noticed a  drywall crack and said he would make the repair and no extra charge. I left and came back late that afternoon to pay him. He had needed to apply 3 coats of paint as we were using a much lighter color than what was used before. The office looked terrific, I did not see any evidence of the wall crack that had previously existed. I asked him how much extra that would cost and he replied that he would honor his original bid. I gave him some extra cash as an expression of my gratitude. I have several work related needs for paint contractors and I plan to use him from now on. It's refreshing to find someone who is reliable and a great craftsman. <br />"

"They were going to charge for part of the estimate and so I decided not to use them because of that. The estimate was pretty high. I had the job done and it was probably almost half the price they were going to charge but they were local contractors through a realtor company that I deal with. The sounded like they knew what they were doing, it sounded like they would have done the job pretty nicely but the were rather high plus hey were going to charge for giving me a proper estimate. They couldn't give me a proper estimate because I wouldn't pay the fee for the estimate. It was about 8 to $900."

"Ed, the Tech arrived on time, inspected old (17 yr) opener that was not working and found that the motherboard, or the whole unit, would need to be replaced. Decided that after 17 years of use, it would be better to replace the old unit. Ed installed Liftmaster 8365 Premium Series 1/2HP AC Motor with 7' Chain Rail and tuned the rollers"

FAQs for wood stairs and railings repair projects in Eleven-mile-corner, AZ

Hiring a pro to refinish wooden stairs means labor makes up 20% to 30% of your total budget. That price covers sanding, staining, and sealing each step. In most cases, a certified refinisher can tackle a 10-step staircase in about two hours, then apply stain and sealant for a durable, eye-catching finish that stands up to daily traffic.

A pro can sand a standard 10-step staircase in roughly two hours, then needs another four to six hours for each coat of stain and sealant to dry. DIYers should budget up to a week for sanding, staining, and sealing in stages. With a crew on site, the bulk of the work is completed in a single day, minimizing disruptions while still achieving a high-quality finish.

It’s possible to refinish stairs without full-scale sanding by using chemical strippers, power buffers, or simply layering a fresh finish over the existing coat. Chemical strippers break down old stains and sealants, while buffers quickly shave off surface material. Even so, a quick hand-sand with fine-grit paper helps the new finish bond properly and look smooth. As always, suit up in protective gear and follow product directions to keep your wood—and yourself—safe.

For most stair projects, you’ll want two sandpaper grits. Begin with 80- to 120-grit to strip the old finish and even out rough spots, then move to 150- to 220-grit for a smooth, ready-for-stain surface. A power sander speeds up the coarse pass, but switches to hand sanding with the fine grit in corners and along edges to keep abrasion even and give stain or sealer something to grab onto.
