"The team came in and got right to work. They found the problem in about 10-15 minutes, then only took another 10-15 to correct it! All in all they were in and out in about 30 minutes or so. They were very friendly and I thought the price was very fair. I will definitely keep their number for future electrical needs."

"Sunrise has completed work for me on two separate occasions. Work was completed on time with a good price and honest suggestions. Both times the crew be it one person or four were courteous, they were quite in my home when I was on the phone for work, they also set up power for my work station so I could keep working when the power had to be out. Most important they were very kind and gentle with my dog who begged for attention when they walked by."

"Paul tackled reconfiguring our old steam shower motor as well as installation of extra outlets. He also ran a dedicated line for a future sump pump. The steam shower work was a real challenge but Paul refused to give up. He worked until it was he successful. For over a year we have enjoyed a like new steam shower thatâ s actually 36 years old. We were so pleased with his performance, his price, and his punctuality, weâ ve hired him for other electrical work. We most highly recommend Paul without any reservations. We consider him â our electricianâ !"

"I had my circuit panel upgraded and moved to the exterior of my home. Rytec sent someone to speak with me and give me an estimate that included upgrading to a 20 amp circuit panel and moving the panel outside. To ensure my house was to code, they also included the installation of a connected fire system. They were professional but I originally asked that they include a couple 220V outlets in a couple rooms but they didn’t complete that. It was a miscommunication, they didn’t charge me for the outlets but I will likely have them return to install those outlets."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Elgin, SC

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
