"thanks to this site, I called Greater Wilm. Structure about a brick house I was buying that had cracked brick and unlevel floors. I assumed I would only (!) need to have that section of the home jacked up and the foundation repaired. Brian returned my call quickly, and met me and my realtor at the house (was a 45 min. drive for him) to give me his opinion and verbal price quote. Many contractors/carpenters would have just focused on the project and the money involved, but Brian wanted to see WHY the house had sunk. He pointed out the major structure issues with the tresses in the attic, joists, as well as other red flags, that would cause problems later. He's a master carpenter and his knowledge, experience (and sense of humor!) was refreshing and valuable. After meeting with him I decided to pull my accepted offer on the home and feel I have saved myself untold amounts of money, stress and frustration. "After the repair was done I noticed a leak in my bathroom ceiling where one of the roof vents were replaced. I called the Subcontractor Brian on a Saturday morning. The weather was cold and raining. He was at my house within the hour up on the roof and fixed the leak. I havent had any leaks since. I would hire Brain the Subcontractor again."

"I liked that CJ was thorough. He made sure to let me know what was going on, while I was on vacation and he was completing the deck for my husband as a surprise for Fathers day. He called, sent me a text messages and was great at keeping me informed. Before I left to have him do the work, I had some concerns with some steps that were build from the previous owners. They were not attached or supported very well. He did a great job at reinforcing those steps; there are no so many cross beams and support that those steps are not going anywhere and do not even move at all either. He did most of the work by himself, but had a crew out depending on the day. They came out early and stayed out working until the evening. He and his crew were great, polite and respectful to my home. He worked with me on pricing and found the best product for what we were looking for. My husband was extremely surprised and we have been using the deck ever since."

"The original issue was getting a leak repaired from the A/C.  They were not able to find and repair the leak.  I don't blame them though.  They repaired the attic crawl space access hole, which I am happy it is safer, but I am unhappy that the A/C line was not confirmed to be repaired.  I was only able to get the ceiling painted and I think they may have damaged my A/C.  The A/C worked before the repair and did not work after.  It is a tenant occupied property so I wasn't able to be present for the repair.  I was a little let down by this service.  The A/C is about a year old and now it is costing me additional money to get it diagnosed and repaired.

"There is Donald Bradford Painting & Repair. I never got anything good from him. His quote, I think he was doing a lot of the stuff here. He goes by Cobalt Roofing and Construction by the way, he has 2 names. I could never get all of the information from him. I don't have a total price. I have pricing, I never got a quote on the roofing and front rails, I never got my quote there. That was about 12000 dollars but I was missing a lot of the price. I was missing things from him. He failed to get back with me on things and when I tried to communicate with him he would never answer my phone calls. I started sending that he would answer an email once in a while, I had a question about the windows he proposed and he didn't respond to me, he had the supplier respond which was okay but I would rather heard from him. I didn't get a warm fudgy feeling about him and responsiveness.

He gave me the painting. He didn't give me the roofing. He never gave me the roofing and siding. I changed a bit on that but siding was not applicable. He never gave me a quote on 2 areas. I have a complete pricing on him. He was a nice guy, when he came over, he was a nice guy. That was fine, he was good. He knew what he was talking about and stuff. His problems are in communications and following through. He doesn't do well in customer support or customer communications. The pricing is incomplete. I would not use him, no, because when you are doing a project, if you can't communicate with the people who is the first person in charge of the project then that's bad. I want somebody I can get a hold of to talk to about my concerns if there is something that I don't understand or don't like. I want to be able to talk to him. If I can't talk to him then they don't get anything from me."
