They had to haul away about 6 tons of field stone then create a flat and level surface for the pool. They then seeded and put straw down on the bare area. They showed up on time and finished at the end of the day. Outdoor advantage is my go to company for any landscaping project. "I hired Baumann's Lawn and Landscape to fix my front lawn. The soil was mostly clay and sand and covered in weeds. They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, and did an amazing job (hopefully this site allows me to upload photos after writing this). The work was done in 3 separate days and took less than 2 weeks from the initial phone call to the finished installation. The price is what you would expect for this level of work and that much sod (sod is not cheap). They're not over-priced but it's not Bob's discount landscaping either. "Within a day or two of our inquiry, owner/manager Kyle Hodges was here to evaluate our problem and give an estimate for the work he discussed with us. Although we live in a townhouse, the record-breaking Maryland rainfall and the slant of the front lawn toward our foundation had caused serious water build up at our foundation and threat to overflow into the basement.. For several weeks we had been bailing rainwater round the clock from the trench that had formed at the front of our home and using dozens of paper towel rolls to absorb water. Kyle saw the seriousness of the problem, brought his co-worker Matt who would do the work to help plan their project and scheduled a date. Matt was excellent and very thorough. So far the work they did has solved the problem successfully, and we look forward to their return in the spring for more corrective landscaping.
