There are a lot of companies to choose from, but after reading many reviews on Angies list from various companies as well as checking their web sites I was struck by all the positive the customer service comments for Hepa Vac. The web site makes it clear what the program involves as well as the expected cost so there are no surprises. Reed was available in just a couple days so I had him come out. He has a camera to put down into the ducts so you can see exactly how dirty they are. Everything went great1 he also did the dryer vent and offered to clean the A/C unit. Thanks Reed!"

"The owner showed up right away and assessed out problem. The dryer vents had never been cleaned in 19 years. We were in a dangerous situation and a fire could have easily started. He came the next day and did all the work from the roof. There was no disruption to any of the owners and copious amounts of dryer lint was removed. We dodges a bullet! I would highly recommend these professionals where you have a single family home or a large condo/apartment building. It's worth it!"

"They were responsive. Called before coming. Arrived on time. Andrew was very clear in terms of what he suggested be done and was not at all pushy. I had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and was starting chemotherapy. I wanted to make sure the air ducts were clean and sanitary to decrease my exposure to molds, dust, allergans, viruses and bacteria when my white blood cell counts would be decreased and my risk for infection would be high. Andrew suggested I have the ducts disinfected as well as cleaned which I did, as well as cleaning my furnace. Their work is superb. The furnace tested well above its rated efficiency. The installations look nice. They explained it all to me as well as writing clear instructions on which way to install the filter. That's something I 100% appreciate. They left the area cleaner than they found it. The company automatically applied for rebates on my behalf. Friendly Michael Cummings came out to fine tune the furnace. He answered the few questions I had. He helped me set up the thermostat app and showed me a feature not mentioned in the handbook. He gave me recommendations on the best way to set up the heating time frames and the fan to optimize comfort while saving money. I highly recommend Air Mechanical. From beginning to end it's been a smooth and stress-free experience. And they do great work."

"I needed to sell my home. The buyers' inspector found a leaky plumbing pipe that is behind the furnace and air ducts. In order for the plumber to fix that leak, the furnace and air duct had to be removed and reinstalled. The problem was that I had the furnace, water heater and water softener were all crammed inside the utility closet. The plumber told me this was going to be tough job to get everything out of the way so he could access the leaky drain pipe. It was only 2 weeks before closing and I had to find an HVAC company quickly. I called Residential Heating and spoke with the owner Chris. Chris asked me take a few photos of the utility closet and send them to him. After he looked at the photos (the one with the furnace and air ducts), he told me right away that he would send someone out to take care of this. I was so relieved to hear that. Because it was in January and the temperatures outside was around 0. I didn't want to cut off heat to my house for too long. I had to coordinate with the plumber who only had one day open during that week. I asked Chris if his technician can remove the furnace first thing in the morning and come back on the same day after the plumber fixed the leak. Chris got back to me in 10 minutes and scheduled the service. It was the coldest time of the year and I knew how hard it must have been to accommodate my service call. Javier was the technician Chris sent over. Javier took a look at the tight space and told me that there could be some gas line and electric wires that would be hard to remove. I was worried. He went to work. After about 2 hours, he got the furnace and air duct removed (the photo without the furnace and air ducts). It was an incredible job. But Javier said that putting the air duct back in place may be challenging. The plumber came over. He was VERY impressed that the space was cleared out for him. It took the plumber 2-3 hours to get the pipe fixed. Then, Javier came back later in the afternoon and got the furnace back in place. It was a HARD job. The equipment was so heavy for one person to lift. But Javier was a SUPERMAN. Our heat was only cut off for 3-4 hours. We got the repair done to meet the buyers' requirement. One week later, the closing went smoothly. I am so grateful for Javier and Chris for helping me out at crunch time. If you need HVAC help, this is THE company you can trust!
