"The service staff arrived promptly and labored without a break for approximately 6 hours. My project was a total house, "spring cleaning," including baseboards, walls, windows, blinds, ceiling fans, and three rooms of heavily soiled carpet. Not only did the service exceed expectations, the staff gladly worked over time and Faith Marie personally inspected their work to ensure my satisfaction. I found her and the staff to be professional, polite and efficient. The service was reasonably priced, particularly given the size of the project. I enthusiastically recommend Faith Marie's firm to anyone in need of a professional cleaning service!"

"Very smooth. Danny was excellent to work with and very responsive. He is definitely the first call I will make when I need my home pressure washed! Can’t say enough great things about the job he did for me!"

"I am so very pleased you were able to come out on such short notice and to clean such a mess of a house ! You did an excellent job considering the challenges this house had and it's desperate, long overdue need for a thorough scrubbing. I look forward to referring you to my neighbors and friends. You have a refreshing personality and it was a sincere joy meeting and working with you, Toni! Looking forward to having you come back,"

"Didn't go well. He was about 3 hours late. Stayed until 10 PM. The cleaning he did was great, but for the amount of money we paid, I would expect more detailed cleaning. He didn't move the dog kennels or living room furniture to sweep or mop underneath. The lighting fixtures and ceiling fans were not touched. The door frames weren't dusted. The bathrooms fixtures (sinks, tubs, showers, etc.) were very clean."

FAQs for walls & ceilings cleaning service projects in Empire, LA

Plan on a light wall wash about once a month to keep dust, grease, and stains from settling in. If you have already hired a house-cleaning crew, which costs $15 to $40 per hour, ask them to incorporate this task into their regular visit. Most companies discount 15% to 20% when routine wall washing replaces an occasional, more labor‑intensive deep clean.

The best approach to cleaning walls depends on the type of paint you have. For oil-based finishes, mix warm water, a few drops of dish soap, and a splash of white vinegar. Then, wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth and rinse it thoroughly. Latex paint is more delicate—vacuum first, then use a dry sponge to lift any lingering dirt. Both methods preserve the finish without leaving streaks.

Drying is non‑negotiable after washing your walls. Leaving walls damp invites streaks, water spots, and even mold. After wiping, follow up with a clean towel, then use a squeegee or a box fan to remove the remaining moisture. Completely dry walls stay brighter and resist damage such as peeling, warping, or mildew growth.

Nicotine stains cling to walls and need a heavy‑duty approach. Cleaning professionals charge $200 to $1,000 to strip away the sticky residue with commercial degreasers, intensive scrubbing, and thorough rinsing. The service not only lifts the yellow film but also erases lingering odors, leaving the surface fresh and paint‑ready.
