"Ron was the best!! I had an emergency situation and never thought I would find someone to do it the same day. Ron was there a few hours after we spoke on the phone, right on time! He is so professional and knows so much about the industry. I was so impressed. My friend was waiting with me while Ron did the inspection and when he left she gave me the "thumbs up." haha, and said, "where did you find this guy, he is great!" I highly recommend Dirty Deeds."

"I'm very, very pleased with them and I have called them before and I will call them again. They're very professional and very kind. It's usually two young guys who come. They do a good job, they work hard, they behave professionally. I've had the best result with stain removal from my carpet with Blackmon Mooring. When I used to work outside the home, the company I worked at, Blackmon Mooring was the company that we called to have our office carpets cleaned and they were just very, very good. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who asks me who I use. I've been very pleased. I had them clean the carpet in my family room, my formal living room, my dining room, and my hallway that leads back to the bedroom, I had them clean all of my porcelain tile and all of that grout in between them. They do some sort of steam brushing cleaning thing and honestly when you walk into my house, it just smells better. I was having some company and so I called them and they were able to accommodate me and they came and they did and I've been so happy that they did such a wonderful job in such a busy season. Because of the square footage involved in the carpet cleaning and I may have had a protective scratch guard thing put down and then I also had all of the tiles steam cleaned, it was around $636."

"I had a 16 year old system that was struggling to cool my house running nonstop during 95 plus days. Before calling Michael's I dealt with two other companies. The first one is not from Enid and I asked for him to try and put some life back in the system. After a couple of weeks of no improvement I called and asked him about replacing it and he said to call back in about a week. I called back in a week and was told the same this happened over and over 4 or 5 times until the end of the summer season of 12. March of the next year I call another company based in Enid to price a new system. He came by checked it out and told me I could just replace the A-coil but would give a price for it along with a new system within a week. After a week and a half I call and he tells me he will get the price figured in the next couple days. A week or two pass and I had a plumbing problem so I called them to see about fixing it and the repairman was sent the next day. A couple days later I go in to pay the bill and the boss tells me he hasn't forgotten about my A.C. and will get it priced pretty soon. I gave up on them and decided to call the guys with the cool purple vans. <br />         When calling Michael's I was told they would come by check it out and get me a price. The next day one of them comes by checks it out followed by Michael coming by one or two days later to show me my price options. He told me the system would take a couple of days to get in and they would start on it as soon as possible. I figured by as soon a possible I would still be waiting a month before they could start but I finally had someone that wanted to do business. You pay so much upfront and the rest after but I can't remember which had the higher percentage. Five or six days after talking to him he called telling me they had my system and would start on it the next day. <br />         The installer shows up and gets to work the next day. It took them about two and half days to remove the old and install the new with the interior unit being in the attic. Temps around the 90's in the afternoon but still being cool enough in the evening and night I was not concerned about time but wish I didn't wasted my time on the last company so it could have been done a month earlier. With the attic heat in the afternoon I don't feel they really put in full days so the install could have been cut down to 2 days but I was fine with that. I was in the attic the whole time with them watching and the heat was pretty bad. My part only involved the heat and not the work in a cramped space so only putting in around seven hours was fine by me. I believe after the second day they had it to were a could run my a.c. but had to come back the next day to complete it. By noon on the third day they were done and I was happy with service and new system. <br />        Since the install two years ago I have had them come back to check the system and to repair a minor duct leak on duct that was installed by an unknown installer when the house was built. With each of these calls they arrived within a couple of days and it not being serious concerns was not a problem. I was still surprised they got to it as fast as they did with it being something minor and figured it wold be a week or two before they came by. <br />        So now that I have the life story out there I will give some reasons for the ratings. <br /> OVERALL - Well by the life story you can tell. <br /> PRICE      - There are two thing with price that I didn't like. First they offered prices on Trane which is one of the best but also comes with a price. Maybe I could have asked about other brands and they would have priced them to get a cheaper system but I wanted one of the best so I didn't ask about cheaper options. The one I chose was the highest priced option so going cheaper than my cheapest option which would be a lower quality brand wasn't something I wanted to do. Two people I told about Michael's had other brands at a cheaper price installed so I found out they do offer brands other than Trane. <br />         The second part of price is I do wish they would have quoted me one or two models up from the model I chose which was their highest priced one. That may sound stupid but I believe the next model up I would have had a two stage system which would be more efficient and the price difference may have been small enough to be worth it. This isn't something I would blame Michael's for because for the most part people in Enid are cheap. Most seem to want to keep the almost dead alive which is part of the problem I had with the last companies. This is problem you will find with most business and not just heat and air in Enid, they want to do as little as possible which leads to poor quality. Poor quality is not something that you will get from Michael's. <br />    QUALITY -   Like I just said poor quality is not something you will get from Michael's. <br />    RESPONSIVENESS  -  Couldn't be faster if you ask me and the people I have referred. <br />    PUNCTUALITY          -    I met Michael, his three sons I believe, a non family member employee and talked to Michael's wife over the phone and all of them were very friendly. No question is to stupid to be asked and they will answer it. I have a little knowledge with heat and air from reading and asking others but sometimes like to ask just to see if it is correct or they feel the same and other times because I don't have a clue. With that being said some may not like the answer to the questions. If a question is asked they will explain it in great detail leaving nothing out. The question can have and answer that takes a couple of minutes to explain because they dumb it down as much as possible to the point a dog could understand. <br />    PROFESSIONALISM  -  They got my new system going in 2.5 days, had great response time with everything I have called about and everything done at top notch. With the other companies I believe I would still be waiting 2 yrs later for the phone call. It doesn't get much better than than. <br />   WOULD I USE THIS PROVIDER IN THE FUTURE? - Yes I have and I have referred family and friends that have had the same experience. <br />        On to the final part which I feel is being judged or whatever you want to call it. I have called several home repair companies in the Enid area from heat and air, remodeling and roofers. The same response from all is we will get back with you in a couple of days or a week. With jobs under $500 there is no problem getting them done but most don't do what was asked for and involves a followup of what you wanted done. I am in my early 30's but look like I am in my early 20's and I feel that some of the companies like J.A. (whoops I wasn't supposed to type that) don't think I am capable of paying to something over $500. I try to pay all of my bills with these companies before I get my bill just so I don't have to deal with remembering to pay for it later. With that I was not judged on my age by Michael's and the work was done. <br /> <br />"

"Outstanding professionalism and promptness every time from the visit for the estimate, day of the work, and follow-up phone calls.  Politeness from all workers every phone call.  They started work early in the morning to contend with the broiling sun.  Three or more workers never slacked.   Before beginning the men put a drop cloth in the house trying to prevent a huge mess.  After the job they cleaned the area well.  We were very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend.  The unit has been running perfectly.  They called to make a follow-up visit to check how the unit is doing.  We weren't charged extra for the estimate even though we hadn't decided to use them yet.   Another heating/ac group who had made an estimate visit charged $50. <br />"

FAQs for air ducts & vents cleaning service projects in Enid, OK

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that air duct cleaning is not required unless visible issues such as mold buildup, rodent droppings, or excessive dust are present. When such conditions exist, cleaning becomes essential to protect indoor air quality and maintain HVAC efficiency. This approach minimizes potential health risks and extends the system’s life.

Air ducts must be cleaned every three to five years as required by NADCA to preserve system efficiency and indoor air quality. The EPA insists that cleaning is necessary only when significant issues such as mold, pest infestations, or heavy dust accumulation are evident. Annual inspections by a certified professional promptly address any emerging concerns.

The ideal seasons for air duct cleaning are spring and fall. Cleaning during these periods prepares your HVAC system for the demands of both winter heating and summer cooling. These seasons provide moderate weather conditions that enable efficient service completion while minimizing disruption, ensuring your system performs at its peak.

Professional air duct cleaning takes a fixed duration of two to five hours, depending on the home’s size and the complexity of the duct system. Smaller residences with standard ductwork complete the service in two hours, while larger homes with extensive ducts require up to five hours. Additional repairs may extend this duration.

To prepare for professional air duct cleaning, ensure all vents are unobstructed by moving nearby furniture and clearing pathways. Secure any pets in a safe area and confirm that your HVAC system units are easily accessible for technician inspection. Proper preparation contributes to a higher quality service outcome and prevents delays, allowing the cleaning process to proceed efficiently.
