"Excellent service. The pruning of the 2nd oak tree and the Hawthorne tree was done one day, and all other work done the next day. The 4-person crew was very professional, kind, and respectful of the property. The large oak I had removed was right up against a new fence, and not far from the side of my house. And, it was not in an area to get a bucket truck nearby. They arrived right on time at the start of the day and worked hard with minimal breaks - very impressive. They ground the stump from the large oak as well as grinding a couple of leftover stumps from previously removed holly trees. Their cleanup was superb! They even blew stuff off the top of my roof! And the wood cut down was nicely rolled together - not just dumped into a large messy clump! And, they were cheaper than another bid I got from a company here on Angie. I cannot recommend them high enough."

"February 18, 2019 Recommendation for Angie’s List Work Done by: Portland Tree Care, Boring, OR Work Done on: February 12, 2019 Scope of Work: Full pruning and thinning of two small Birch trees in front yard, two large Birch trees, one large Maple tree and one very large Sweetgum tree in back yard. Also apply a systemic insecticide soil drench to control Aphid in all of our Birch trees. Brian Mowld was quick to respond to my request for a quotation. He was able to email his quote to me the same day that he came to the house to look at the job. We had to be a little flexible with the planned schedule due to unexpected snow here. However, on the scheduled day for the project Brian and his two man crew, Jake and Dan, arrived on time and went right to work. They were very polite and professional and did a wonderful job for us including a very thorough clean-up. My wife and I are very pleased with the look and shape of our trees. It is also reassuring that our trees are now better prepared to withstand the strong East wind we get in our area. We have used Portland Tree Care in the past with very good results and this time was no exception. "Our tree was audibly cracking along the length of the trunk.  Our neighbor recommended Stumps Be Gone and they came out that day. We were told to call them when we received the city permit to remove the tree.  We called and they came out that day to do the work.
Excellent service.  All employees are friendly and did excellent, professional work.The branches were chipped, the trunk was cut into firewood lengths and the area was cleaned up before they left.
The stump removal was done swiftly on a following day and another neighbor came down to have them do some work on his trees also.  Wonderful experience."

"Our house has a very steeply pitched roof. It's a 1904 farmhouse and we have struggled with keeping the valleys of the roof free of moss, leafs and tree matter. Found Diimitri at PDX Roof Care on Angies List and we're very pleased with the work he did and his professionalism. I have a rather large garden area around the house and wanted moss removal that would not damage my shrubs and flowers. His guarantee of the moss staying off the roofs (garage and house) for 2 years sold us! After cleaning the roof of moss, treating the roof, and cleaning the gutters, Diimitri soft sprayed the house so there wasn't bits from the cleaning everywhere. After 5 years our trees had grown tall enough that we were losing our spectacular view,. Our property sits 950 feet above the street below and the back of our entire house is glass. Obviously maintaining the view is important, but we also love the nature like setting. that the trees provide. For us, although most of the trees were cotton wood, topping or removing them was not an option. Dilemma. In addition, we learned that Lake Oswego is very, very strict regarding tree codes, so we needed someone that was responsible enough to stay within those codes. Bigger Dilemma. Each day Ray stopped by to make sure that we were happy with the progress and in fact saw that some additional branches needed to be trimmed which he included in the original bid.
