"During the course of one month there were a few problems: half of a rose bush was knocked over after a mowing, a sprinkler head was destroyed by a mower (and not replaced), and scalping of grass in various yard areas. (see photos) I talked with Jose about the rose bush and he said he did not notice it while on site. The base of the bush was probably bumped with a mower and fell over before I came home in the afternoon; by then it was on the ground. It's in an inaccessible part of the front yard, so no one else would have come in contact with it (neighbor kids, balls, pets, etc). My husband discovered the sheered off sprinkler head in the back/side yard the first time he mowed after terminating our 1 month of service. So glad the sprinkler system is not on for the watering season yet. Scalping of the grass occurred in several areas. When I spoke to Jose, he said the lawn is uneven. Nevertheless, it has not happened for the previous decade my husband has been mowing and edging the lawn. I think Jose and his staff work hard and care about the quality of service they provide. We were just unlucky during our trial month and while I could not recommend the service based on our experience, I'm sure they do a good job overall based on his ratings."

"The owner, Darrick, really listened to what I wanted done and the desired result. He brought a team and they knocked off the front and back yards in under an hour. It has NEVER looked so good. He understood my "low upkeep" vibe, and the nature of my eco lawn. He did not use Roundup, but treated the weeds organically. I have no idea if that will prove to keep them at bay, but as I said, I am not a yard fanatic. I will absolutely call him again."

"J.P. came out last fall and provided an estimate. We have a lot of weeds in the yard from living next to pastures and fields. WE told J.P. that we wanted to have the yard looking a lot better by June for our daughter's wedding in the yard. He put together a plan of treatments that would get our yard back in shape. since we live on well water, they used organic fertilizers. After the recommended treatments my yard has one or two weeds instead of one or two thousand weeds. They even did a portion of our pasture so that it will look like lawn for the wedding. <br /> I have tried products from the store to weed-n-feed with very limited success in the past. Their treatment seemd a little expensive (hence the only B rating) but the results are amazing. Within two days of the weed killing application I had curled leaves all over the yard. Weeds just died while the grass looks beautiful and thick. <br /> After the wedding I plan on continuing service with some fall fertilizer treatments and a spring weed-n-feed. That should keep my lawn in the country looking beautiful. <br />"

"I believe a rating at this time would be unfair. I've only had one treatment and the gentleman that was sent out was in a bad mood. Considering that it was the end of the day, I will not rate the company. Trying to be fair and there is little improvement on the lawn. Therefore, I will wait to see how the lawn care comes along. "Two men from the company came out and gave an estimate for the number of man-hours the job would take and an estimate for the parts (4 valves & miscellaneous parts). And very importantly, the SAME two men came out to perform the job. They arrived on time and the job took exactly the number man-hours they had estimated. They really knew what they were doing - they were professionals ! The work was physically demanding (crawling around on their hands and knees) and they worked fast, even when they encountered the usual underground plumbing problems you encounter when the plumbing has been sitting underground for several decades. The plumbing work was really first class - but what really impressed me was that after all the digging out of sprinkler heads that was done, when they left they put the lawn back together so well that you couldn't tell the difference between the sprinkler heads that they replaced and the others that they didn't work on ! I would heartily recommend them for any lawn irrigation installation/maintenance/repair job. The man-hour billing rate is an established number for the company that they can tell you. The estimator job is to estimate the total number of man-hours the job will take and the approximate cost of the parts. Your job is to do the arithmetic to figure out how much the whole job will cost you."
