"We have a long standing relationship with Fredrick James Construction. We have worked with this company for over 10 years. They have replaced flooring for us and have done numerous home improvement projects. Our most recent project was the re-siding of our home. We had Fredrick James Construction remove our old vinyl siding, and re-side our home with Hardy Plank. We also had them replace 10 dated vinyl windows and replace them with 10 new, vinyl windows. The house looks amazing. Everyone on the crew is polite and very skilled. As with all remodel projects, some unexpected 'surprises' arose, but as usual, Fred and his crew knew exactly how to address the problem and everything turned out wonderfully. What I appreciate about Fredrick James Construction is that each of the workers are respectful, skilled and work hard to finish the project in a timely manner. "They are always on time, immaculate clean up and quality work, with reasonable prices. They listen to what you want done, provide a detailed estimate and always have suggestions for saving a few dollars here and there. They stand behind their work and check in with you to see if everything is done the way you want it. They start the work and keep at it until it is done. No running off to other jobs or dragging out the work for days. I would always check with Middlefield Construction before anyone else because if they can't do it, they have people that they recommend that are specialists and work with the same care that they do. They did some extensive remodeling work for me last year and the work was amazing.....you are unable to see where things were removed and replaced, it was done quickly and when they were done, they cleaned up after the work and even vacuumed the drywall dust that escaped the draping. I would always recommend them for their quality work, reasonable prices and just the fact that the owner carries a cell phone that he always answers so you always can contact him. This is a 5 star company!"

His willingness to say okay we can do that or offer an opinion on things. He is easy to work with. His attention to detail to make sure that things are done right. His knowledge of what will work or what will not work. If he does not know something, he will let you know, he will not try to get something past you. There is a certain trust there. Price wise for me, he does not do mark ups on light fixtures, it is just his skill and labor and any materials that he buys. He passes the discount on to me. We will be using him for the kitchen remodel."
