Universal Windows Direct was founded in April of 2002 by William Barr and Michael Strmac. It was their mission to create a home improvement company that offers high quality home improvement goods at the best possible value. What began as two guys in a 350 square foot office quickly grew to become one of the nation's leading remodeling companies. Today, Universal Windows Direct represents thousands of customers and has a rapidly growing network of locations nationwide, all of which are actively involved in the communities they serve.

10+ years in the construction field, mostly in framing; stud wall and post frame buildings. I love the construction field and just want to make more for my family and add new life to my community by fixing up houses and helping my neighbors.

I've renovated 2 historic buildings and I'm expanding into additional renovations!

We are a family operated business with having our kids and now grandkids working with us. We believe that hard work produces a solid foundation for in our industry. We have over 55years of construction experience between to two of us. We specialize in windows, doors, patio doors ,siding ,decks and additions.\nWe do small projects to whole house builds. Although there are many companies in our industry, we believe we stand out because of our experience and dedication to providing quality service to our customers. We truly enjoy being part of a homeowners process of improving their home

I have over 25 years remodeling experience and do custom wood working as well as saw mill services that I can bring to you. Also great at small automotive repairs.

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Excellent job.

Easy to schedule appointment.  Glass came in quickly and overall the project was complete efficiently.  More importantly, the technician/installer seemed knowledgeable, helpful and hence I had confidence in his work and hired them on the spot before waiting on other bids (for some reason other companies couldn't give me the price on the spot but he was able to).  He also answered questions about other windows and I plan to hire them again in the spring to address some other window issues.  I was glad I hired them because the other company didn't follow through.

Also, noted the office staff were extremely friendly and nice. I even arranged to pay ahead of time over the phone once the glass was in so that payment was complete - this was no problem."

"This guy was awesome! If you want to deal with someone who does repairs the way people used to do, this is your guy. Ryan came with a pickup truck loaded with all the materials he needed to do my job. He evaluated my door, and went to work. He knew exactly how to repair my garage door quickly and efficiently. I was able to close my garage door for the first time in over a week! If you want a straight-up guy who will deal with you honestly and do a great job, call Ryan! Highly recommended!"

"The owner was easy to work with. He explained the work steps clearly. Crew knew ahead of time what had to bee done that day and who's task it was to do it. The crew chief was always watching to make sure things were done correctly, and the owner came by several times to check on progress. When all was finished we did a walk around to see if everything was up to my OK.
