"We heard water gushing under our house one night and thought a pipe had burst. We shut down the water from the street and started calling Angie's List plumbers the next morning. Raman from Drain Pro said he could be here between 8-10 am, and he was. Discovered that the pipe from the street had disconnected to the pipe leading into the house. He had the parts and tools to repair the connection on the spot. In addition, he took the time to replace cartridges in our faucets that had failed related to the leak. He was great to work with and we really appreciated him getting us back on water so quickly. In addition, he recommended for the amount of water in the crawlspace that we rent a dehumidifier rather than contract with a much more expensive company. The guy at the equipment rental shop verified that doing so was saving us many hundreds of dollars. We know we need to replace our hot water tank soon and will be calling Drain Pro to install it."

He was responsive, punctual, answered all my questions and provided a very thorough estimate of the work we needed done in a timely manner. I took estimates from other companies but Mad Pipers was by far the the most responsive and for the large amount of work we needed done, they were also the best pricing. The job was completed by Zack and Ragen who showed up on time and were very professional. The work itself was a two day job. They made sure to explain everything that was completed. I was very happy with the work they did and as a result asked them back to provide an estimate for some additional (smaller scale) work I needed done on a guest bathroom (replacing old galvanized steel pipes with new copper pipes) and a master bathroom (replacing a popup & drain which was done by Curtis). "We requested a bid for installation of recessed kitchen lighting. What we got was an estimate for the cost of rewiring the knob-and-tube in our entire house, plus the cost of the fixtures. The rewiring alone was estimated over $18,000. Our home inspector informed us about knob-and-tube when we moved in, as well as the excellent condition of the wiring. Adding LED fixtures would have been a low draw on the system and we have since gotten a far better bid from another electrician. Our impression was that we were given a hard sell to spend almost $20,000 on a big project we did not ask for. There was no alternative solution offered. Additionally, the price quoted for the fixtures was very higher, higher than any I could find on a basic Internet search for the same fixtures, so big price gouging there on the materials. I am confident that these are skilled electricians, but as a homeowner and consumer, I felt that we were not heard and that the company, as represented by the initial contact with the lead electrician who seems to primarily be a salesman, is interested only in big-ticket jobs. If you need a big commercial project done, you may find Seatown to be your best choice. As a homeowner, I felt like the company's next prospective sale. We won't hire this company."
