"American Moving was very responsive and professional. They showed up on time the day of the scheduled day and carefully moved my furniture and belongs. The workers were very cordial and very understanding of the uncertainty on my part where the pieces of furniture would fit. They placed furniture and boxes where we asked. The experience from the time I contacted them until my household was relocated was excellent."

"This was the most coordinated and professional move I’ve ever experienced. Working with Jose Was great, he made sure that I was informed about every step of the move and stuck to the initial estimate. Items were securely, packed, and movers were cautious with any larger fragile items. Would not hesitate to use their services again in the future."

"Truly wonderful service. Was contacted almost immediately after putting in a request and was able to schedule service for the next day! Everyone is spoke to was professional and helpful. Job got done in a timely manner and all m belongings were treated with care. Will definitely be hiring again next time I move."

"We used Call the Movers for packing and moving my Mom’s home of 23 years. Our team consisted of Guide, Ben, Annette, Joseph, Marvin, and Runya. The home was packed to the gills; without these fabulous people, my family would still be chipping away at the mountains of stuff within those four walls. Everyone was professional, conscientious, respectful, friendly, and downright awesome! Words cannot describe how happy and grateful I am to have used Call the Movers. Please book this company for your next move; I promise you won’t be disappointed! A+++ service!"

"Excellent. I'm on the frugal side but really needed to move quickly, so I hired movers, but tried to keep costs down as much as possible. I had everything packed up, and they managed to get it all out very quickly. I wasn't moving anything bigger than a loveseat, but given a winding descent down 20 steps and 2 fairly narrow platforms, I thought it would take longer. There was a 45 minute drive that maybe took them closer to an hour, but I cant blame them at all for stopping to recharge after their effort emptying out the apartment. Moving stuff into the new place took a little longer. I tried to stress to them that they could just leave everything in the living room, but after the 3rd or 4th time of them asking where to put things my s/o decided to take over playcalling duties. It wound up coming to an hour beyond the initial deal, but in the end paid almost exactly what I expected, with the bonus of having stuff dispersed in the new home. Also worth noting that the movers wore masks, which was appreciated, but after seeing how much they effort they were exerting I suggested they take them off if they wanted and that we'd steer clear so they can breathe more easily. One, the youngest of them, took us up on it but the other two were pretty adamant about keeping them on, and when they arrived at the new place to unload he had it back on without us asking. For those who are concerned about COVID exposure from the movers I'd say they were definitely on the cautious side, and that it wasn't just for show. If the need were to arise, I would definitely hire again."

"We hired Potomac Moving Co for our local move. We downsized from a 3 bedroom home to a 2 bedroom apartment. Luis, David & Daniel were amazing! They were so professional & efficient. I would happily recommend them."
