"It has gone very smoothly, I worked with Alfred Pickett, (205) 837-1011, who quoted the job, scheduled the job with one of Authentic Restoration's roofing crews. It is Alfred who stood fast that our roof was damaged and likely that our insurance adjuster would approve coverage payments. This occurred on an incredible day when I coincidentally paid a home inspector to inspect a small area on my roof that another "sub" of mine had patched. Alfred was standing nearby and we didn't say a word that Alfred was a roofer. I asked the Home Inspector to check our roof while he was up there - and he came down and told me the roof was not damaged by hail! When the inspector left, Alfred showed me on his "Tablet" the picture he took of our roof and there were many pale charcoal-colored spots in the picture. This was the hail damage we suspected that occurred in April 2017. Our terrific Cincinnati Insurance Co. paid all of our $40,638 roofing/new gutters bill except a $2,500 deductible that we happily paid. Authentic Restoration performed a great job on our home's roof and (don't forget) gutters. I am so big on Restoration that we got my youngest Stepson's home re-roofed due to hail damage also, and happily this home was covered by Cincinnati Insurance also (hail damage). In addition, I've led, so far, two of my neighbors who own luxury homes with hail-damaged roofs to Alfred and they are getting new replacement roofs covered by insurance. Alfred has also made things easy in doing our two jobs and I am very fortunate that we crossed paths because he has saved my wife and I some serious money and made it easy!!"

Johnny contacted me and scheduled a time to come and provide an estimate in a timely manner. The estimate was competitive and they were willing to work with my timelines as we were having a pool installed and needed to wait until the pool builder was finished before beginning the siding job. Once I gave SouthFace the notification that I was ready to begin the work they had materials delivered within a couple days and the demo/repair began the following week. "Blair Remodeling replaced 26 of my old wooden double hung windows with Wincore vinyl windows. I first met with Craig Blair on April. He gave me a quote that same day. He was very patient and was definitely not in a hurry to leave, even though it was late in the day. He answered all of my questions. After I thought about it for a while he came back another afternoon to answer more questions and show the demo window unit to my wife. Again, very patient and in no hurry to be anywhere. Made down payment in April. He said they would install in early June. That is exactly what happened. The install took only three days. They started on a Wednesday and finished on a Friday. The install crew consisted of three guys. They were extremely polite and cleaned up their mess each day. There was only one major issue. There were streaks and smudges on every window. It looked like some kind of sealant that was not cleaned off during the manufacturing process. I met with the lead installer on Friday morning and pointed this out to him and asked that he clean the windows. He was very condescending and obviously did not want to clean the windows. He said he would but I knew he would not. I went back to work (my wife was home but said she would not enforce the window cleaning) The project was finished when I got home Friday afternoon. The windows looked great but . . . You guessed it. There were still streaks and smudges on all the windows. Not wanting to be a pain, I tried cleaning the windows myself. The sealant was very difficult to remove. It would not come off with glass cleaner alone. I decided this should definitely be Blair’s responsibility. I asked for a meeting with Criag Blair. We met the following week. He was very polite and patient. He agreed to have the windows cleaned and address a few other minor issues. It took a while, and to be fair, I was out of town for a week but we finally coordinated on having the windows cleaned. The crew that did the installation came back out. They came while I was at work. My wife was home but declined to be the inspector. They finished cleaning about 3 PM. They waited for me to get home at 4:30. We walked around and inspected all 26 windows. There were a few touch ups but for the most part they did a good job. In summary, I was very pleased and satisfied with the entire process. I will definitely use Blair Remodeling in for any future projects. Craig Blair is the best. I totally trust him and I know that he will do whatever is necessary to make sure I am satisfied. Hopefully, Blair will add cleaning the windows to their standard installation procedure."

"Bill was very renowned roofing in our neighborhood. They did an excellent job removing our old roof. We didn t find any nails in the yard or in the flowerbed. They completed our roof in the time they said they would. He's very affordable and stood behind his work. He even got up on the roof and worked himself."

"I had contacted about 5 different roofing company's before meeting with Daniel. Daniel was fairly new to the company (Summit Renovation) but he went above and beyond our expatiations! If he did not know the answer he was calling me back within minutes with the correct answer. Just to confirm what we were requesting (removing the dog house type vent to install ridge vents) was in fact possible we did place a call to Patrick the owner of Summit Renovation to inquire about the ridge vent system due to Daniel was not quite certain about the venting. Patrick was well informed by Daniel and knew exactly what we were wanting in replacing our roof, after speaking to Patrick we called Daniel back and asked him to bring the work order/contract for us to sign. Due to rainy weather our date of beginning the work was post pone. Delivery of all materials was made on a Monday, all items were neatly stacked and set in our drive way. Rain on Tuesday & Wednesday..... The work began on Thursday morning! The workers were very nice, cleaned as they worked (ok except for 1 water bottle left stuck in my bird feeder which I needed to add seed) removing the old roof and during the complete process. We were very surprised that our roof was finished on Saturday! WOW Love the look of our new roof with the ridge vents! Wish I could post before and after pictures! "We were really in need of a new roof, and my wife and I wanted to look at a new metal roof but weren't sure if it was in our price range. I had always been told that a metal roof was several thousands more than a conventional shingle roof. So I started checking roofing companies through Angie's list and had no problem finding several companies that were interested in replacing our roof for us. I did find a couple that even included quotes on metal roof as a another option along with their shingle roofs. We just wanted to look at all our options, and that is when I came across Seal-Tite out of Helena, Alabama. I contacted Jim Hoffine the owner to see if he traveled to north Jefferson county on roof installs. I had asked him if he could visit our home on a weekend and he had no problem doing so. Jim was able to come out on a Sunday afternoon and sit down with my wife and I and that is when he really surprised us with what his company could do. Jim explained everything in detail, basically gave us a step by step explanation of how a metal roof is installed and to dispel some of the things that you hear which are not true. Jim explained with only one layer of shingles on our roof, the procedure is to leave the shingles in place and of course to replace any rotten or damaged roofing board if detected before installing the metal roofing. That is when we decided to ask Jim to write up a contract and to schedule our install. I had also asked about the installing a membrane layer between the old shingles and the new metal roof. His crew showed early on a Tuesday morning which was not the best day weather wise, rain and strong winds were coming in that afternoon. They were able to install about half before stopping for the day due to bad weather. The next morning they were able to complete the job, and it looks great! One advantage to a metal roof install like mine is that your roof is not exposed to the elements of mother nature. My wife and I are very happy with the workmanship and the look of our new roof, and the price is very affordable."
