"Woody and his Son from Energized Electric did an awesome job. They listened to what I wanted and didn't try to oversell or push me to do upgrades like other companies wanted. They also didn't charge me a service fee to come and give me a free estimate like other companies. Woody would also give recommendations on lighting and man was he spot on. Everything turned out awesome and I would highly recommend to others."

"Mr. Electric provided excellent service for me under difficult circumstances. A building contractor damaged a wire and buried it under 42” of concrete. Ryan Corley, Mr. Electric’s wire detection specialist, was able to locate the wire accurately. Electricians Jeff Shipkosky and Khefren Johnson spent two and a half very long days, in 93-degree heat, digging around the perimeter of my house. Both ends of the damaged wire were eventually located six feet underground, which is considerable deeper than code requires. Justin David, Mr. Electric’s manager, was here working alongside his men and provided all the support possible to them. He maintained full contact and communication with me throughout the entire process. These men, along with a crew of assistants, are a class act company. I was very impressed at the dedication of Mr. Electric and recommend them highly."

Small jobs welcome

"I can't express how Dylan's Electric goes above and beyond excellence in customer service, knowledge, and professionalism. From the moment I contacted this company I knew my project was in good hands. I would recommend Dylan's, not only to my best friend but my family too. I contacted Dylan's Electric on Monday morning. He was prepared to stop by my home Monday afternoon. He listened to my needs, evaluated my situations, and sent me a quote Monday evening. The quote was reasonable and worked with my budget. They were able to schedule my project for Wednesday morning and my project was completed late Wednesday afternoon. I couldn't be any happier with the quick-turn-around time, honesty, and someone who genuinely cared about his workmanship. Dylan - thank you for making my home safe again and the additional features that make life more convenient too!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Fairfield, OH

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
