"Hired this pro to reinstall a loose tile soap/cloth unit. He asked for a pic so he could give me an estimate. The first pic is the before pic. I failed to notice before he left but noticed a couple hours later that he reinstalled it upside down as the second photo shows. When I texted him he tried to say it was how the unit was when he came and thought it was how I wanted it installed. When I reminded him of the before pic and asked if he could come and fix it the next day he stopped responding. Such a tiny job. So poorly done and did not offer to fix it. This was my first and last time using Angie?s List!!!!! "

"We have had DDP (Dariusz Pardo and his great crew) do substantial projects for us since 2015 - interior painting and kitchen remodel for my motherâ s condo, exterior painting of our house - so when we decided to do a major refresh and renovation of our house, DDP was our first choice. That was a smart move! After much discussion and thought, we agreed on an expansive project list. * New kitchen: cabinets, quartz countertops, crown molding, ceramic backsplash, porcelain floor, ceiling and under-counter lighting * Replace hardwood floors (rip out hardwood, screw down sub-flooring, install and finish new flooring) * Replace interior doors (19) and door moldings * Replace all baseboard moldings * Build new Pantry and laundry room closets and remodel all other closets * Family Room: Design and install new in ceiling lighting, and install new laminate flooring * Replace all electrical switches and outlets, and install several new outlets in kitchen, bedrooms and family room * Fix creaky stairs * Adjust step height of several stair steps * Paint every room and closet, which required resurfacing of many areas that had deep cracking/peeling of 60 years worth of paint. * Design and install plumbing for a new water softener system, and install system * Install new natural gas Hot Water Heater including leak detector with automatic water shut-off. Along the way, Dariusz made numerous helpful suggestions and incidental improvements, driven by his high standard of design and desire to deliver the best possible results. The projects took about 13 weeks to complete - pretty quick for all the work that was done. The end result is spectacular - we have transformed our tired old house! We are delighted with our new home!
