"Excellent company that maintained my house in Portland while I was living out of state for a few years. The crew always did a great job and were easy to communicate with. They will fix fences, if needed, and clean gutters. I hired them because my neighbor across the street had such a nice yard and she used them. 10/10."

"They did quite a bit of work. They’ve been really, really good. You pay monthly for all weeks out of the year, so even if it snows, you have to pay for them to come out, but, from what I understand, they still will clean up the leaves and all that kind of stuff. They were very punctual, listened to what I was requesting, and if I had an issue, their follow-up was prompt and it was taken care of. They come every Thursday."

"We agreed on a fair price, he showed up on time, and very methodically and safely removed the tree. He cut up the trunk in firewood size pieces and left the branches at my request (I have a chipper). Couldn't be happier."

"Laura was very friendly and talkative.  Her crew worked hard, in hot weather, to do the work described above.  I had neglected the yard, so it was a lot of work, I know.  I'll never know whether it was market-value worth the $1900 I paid for it ($200 was the Angie's List coupon, so an additional $1700), as it's hard for me to calculate outside a by-the-hour pay rate, but the yard was certainly overgrown to a large extent and they did removed and haul A LOT of debris.  They were originally going to come over three or four days but were able to do the work in only two...the second day shorter than I expected.  I suppose this was more convenient, as I could set about starting the garden I had hoped to establish in a more inviting yard, but it did leave me wondering about the cost.

"Damian exceeded our expectations! When he arrived for the free estimate, he took the time to listen to everything we needed done and explained exactly what he would do. He then provided his estimate cost and said if we offered him our business he promised he would make the yards perfect... He did exactly that! Every single weed and blackberry bush was pulled meticulously. The soil was treated to help prevent weeds, the mesh ground cover was applied in all areas and the final step was when they put down and spread out a generous layer of fine/dark bark dust."

"From the beginning, my husband and I were taken with Tavo and Armando's professionalism, knowledge, and ideas for our yard . After interviewing a few prospects, we picked Earthview Landcare and could not be happier. We are incredibly pleased with their services. They helped us figure out how to bring our lawn/backyard/front yard back to life. We just moved to West Linn and our yard was in need of some help! For our initial clean up they fertilized our lawn, got rid of weeds, trimmed our bushes and trees, etc and will help us dispose of some trees this winter.  They come on a weekly basis and maintain our yard beautifully. Their prices are very fair as well. We highly recommend them!

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Fairview, OR

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
