"Delivery of the mulch was super quick once scheduled and was unloaded exactly where we asked. We went with 3 yards of red cedar mulch and it's gorgeous."

We asked him how the price could be so high with such cheap fixtures (total cost of fixtures would be about $300). So we found some sturdy lights we like ($75 each) 2 spot lights ($125 each) a transformer (about $50) and easily did the job ourselves with much higher quality components."

"The basic mowing was done reasonably well and I appreciated coming home from three weeks away to a freshly mowed lawn.  However, there were several issues that made me rate this company lower: 1.  I have a very wet area in the front yard where the sump pump empties.  They ran a large mower carelessly over this area, causing large ruts. 2.  They routinely allowed the grass cuttings to cover some areas landscaped with flowers and plants. 3.  They ran over the spout to my back gutter, crushing it.  Although Michael said he would replace it, he never did. 4.  They did not come to mow on a regular schedule.  I often had to call after 2-3 weeks when the grass had grown very tall without any mowing.  They generally showed up within a day or two (there was always a reason why they hadn't been there), but I really didn't want to have to keep calling. 5.  In the early part of the summer, I asked for a bill several times.  None was forthcoming.  So I stopped asking -- after all, I'm not the one who wanted to get paid!  I finally received a bill in December for the whole summer.  This bill was incorrect.  It charged me for dates when they had not come (I kept track of the days they actually mowed on my calendar.)  I would have preferred smaller bills on a regular basis, and found this unprofessional."

"The project went very well -- I had a general idea of what I wanted and Brian had specific recommendations for each area of the project.  The project (especially the steps to the backyard) was adjusted as we went along which changed the original estimate, but Brian always let me know if that was occurring.  Brian's team members are very hardworking and also have very positive upbeat personalities.   Brian and his team produce excellent work and pay attention to details (ie, craftsmanship), but Brian also has a good "eye".  When he says he has an idea/suggestion  for your project, just say "OK" -- it will definitely be something you like.  I've had more positive comments from my neighbors about this driveway than any other improvement to my home in the past 10 years, including the new roof and siding project several years ago."

They did a nice installation job. But Bob went way above and beyond. My association had initially told me that they'd reimburse me for the expense but then refused to reimburse me when I sent them the bill. I took my association to conciliation court to recover the cost of replanting the grass. Bob came to court with me to testify on my behalf. I tried twice to pay him for his time but he wouldn't take any money. I really appreciate his willingness to help me."
