"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"Didn't give me much notice they were coming. Work quality was average at best, sloppy drip edge around the corners, sloppy cut with the sheathing and shingles around vents etc. Didn't clean up very well as I'm finding nails everywhere. I only saw the "foreman" once because I called him. Ended up having to buy my own plumbing vent pipe and furnace vent flashing because they didn't bring them. Spent $13000 and not once did anyone ask me if I was satisfied or happy with the work. Only positive is it was done fast."

My check was lost in the mail and I received harassing and threatening calls and Rolox was about to put a lien on my house and charge me a $495 fee and 24% interest rate but halted when they received my reissued check that I had previously indicated to them was in the mail when they continued to keep calling asking for payment."

"They were very good and professional. The measuring was well done and they did not get more materials than needed. They made sure that the skirts around the skylights were sealed correctly so they would not leak. The process was also very quick; they finished in one day. They also cleaned up everything nice and neat. The crew was large, which helped with the quickness and the clean up."

As it was the holiday season, she was engaging even to the passing people and their children. Conscientious of  our personal space and thoroughly explained his company's products. I am very grateful that he listened to our needs and helped us to make an appropriate selection. He made sure all available discounts were afforded to our estimate. Which, by the way, was no different than the final bill. Throughout, Kirk has followed the team from Kape. Making sure of both the progress and our satisfaction every step of the way. Even driving out of his way, mid-installation to check in on the event. <br />  The crew member were a perfect picture of efficiency!  Every member on time. They arrived in tandem and all proceeded with their jobs immediately. First  placing tarps to protect our home, through out. Then having every single supply in order and available to themselves.  <br />  Yes, I have had workmen need to use my extension cords. <br />  Not these guys! Awesomesauce!! For a job that I was prepared to take all day, they were in and out of here in a matter of hours. They even took time to indulge my disabled son. Took time to answer even his questions. Not everyone does that.  All four were very polite and exceptional to deal with. The whole time being respectful of our home. What a joyful and pleasant surprise. Right down to a fabulous job on even the clean up. Above and beyond, I would say. <br />  The change from our old windows was immediate and phenomenal! Why did we not do this sooner! <br />  With such a fine overall experience, we can hardly wait for our next project to commence with The staff from Kape Roofing and Exteriors."
