Nathan came and assessed the chimney and said that the tile mortar is intact, but that the creosote lining the chimney had experienced a fire and had to be removed with PCR, which he will do in 2 weeks. He is repairing other things on the chimney another company had attempted to fix but hadn't. He provided photos to verify all he told us. The total repair will be less than $2000. He is responsive to texts and emails and provides written estimates. Though the job isn't finished yet, we feel like we have found a chimney professional we can use for the future."
