Customers say: True professional

"our front brick steps have sunk about 9 inches. They used hydraulic jacks to lift the concrete slabs. Then drilled into the foundation and tied into it with rebar. Then pumped cement back into keep the step-slabs level. They them repointed all of the steps. You can see the before and after pics here."

"Customer service was exceptional. The job was finished on time and the quality of work was outstanding. Jair and his team were always professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. They kept me informed about every step of the process. Would definitely hire them again for their other services."

"Francisco Gomez started the job until day #2, He stated that he can't grade the three sided out of the four sided property because he does not have the heavy equipment (dozer) to do the slopes. He only has the small machine to finish up the driveway. He should have told me that from the beginning so that I would not have hired him. I already gave him $3,600 & he only gave me back $300. I would like an additional refund of $ 1,000. He only did partial grading for driveway & move the mulch in the back part of the property. There was no gravel or cement installed."

"This company is horrible. Do not give them your money. Do not let them touch your house. All those great 5-star reviews from several years ago were under the company’s previous owner. The current owner, Brian, doesn’t care if his company’s repair job is done correctly or fixes the issue they were paid to fix. We hired Foundation Worx to add support under a hallway in our home. The job was done incorrectly, creating a large bulge in our bedroom floor and causing substantial drywall damage. I emailed Brian immediately and received no response. After calling the company a couple times, they finally sent out a salesman who doubled down on the improper repair and claimed there was no need to make any adjustments or corrections. We hired a structural engineer who confirmed the job didn’t resolve our hallway issue and actually made it worse. We sent a Right To Repair letter certified mail to Brian, which he was supposed to respond to within 30 days. Brian did not respond. After waiting over seven weeks for a response that never came, I emailed Brian again and asked for a refund, as our house experienced significant further damage while we were jumping through these hoops trying to get a resolution from Foundation Worx. Brian finally responded but only offered to repair their project, 6+ months after they broke our house. This repair should have been offered to us immediately. As we could not trust Foundation Worx to repair our home properly or in a timely manner, we paid another company to do it. I requested a refund from Brian multiple times and this request was ignored. Save yourself the nightmare we went through and hire another company."

"I am really disappointed in the professionalism of windows sources, employee, Mike Raywood. I had him in my home to do a quote, and he was supposed to get back to me with the price and never responds to my messages-even though it shows that he read them. I also emailed his work email and no one responded to me. I ended up contacting Tim Walsh and he got right over here to fix my window! "

Masons charge between $70 and $110 per hour. A mason may have a minimum service fee ranging from $80 to $300. Most bricklayers offer free estimates and charge only if you proceed with the project. A professional repointing lasts 20 to 30 years without maintenance and extends up to 50 years when maintained diligently. This process protects your brickwork using high-quality materials that ensure lasting performance and durability. Consistent upkeep preserves its strength and appearance, providing enduring protection and enhancing your home’s overall structural integrity for decades.

You know your house needs repointing when you notice clear signs such as cracked, flaking, or missing mortar and visible discoloration on the brick surfaces. Additional indicators include loose bricks, water damage, and gaps between the brick joints that compromise the overall integrity of the structure. Addressing these issues promptly protects your investment and sustains the durability and curb appeal of your home.

A house needs repointing to preserve both its structural integrity and visual appeal. Mortar acts as a vital bonding agent that holds the bricks securely together. When the mortar deteriorates, it exposes the structure to water infiltration and further decay, increasing the risk of costly repairs. Repointing stops decay and reinforces the exterior, ensuring long-term protection.
