"I originally planned to have a paver patio installed. However, after talking with Kevin on the phone and looking at pavers that had been in place for some time, I decided that a poured patio would better suit my needs. Kevin came out to my hone, listened carefully, understood what I wanted, told me what he could and would do, and gave me a quote. I really wanted stamped concrete, but the poured patio with a nice color added to the concrete was at the absolute top of my budget. He told me on that same day that he had a cancellation two weeks out and if I decided that day, I could have that slot. Otherwise it would be about eight weeks out. I gave it some thought and agreed. He had a contract to me by the next day. The two weeks passed and his crew of six or seven, including Kevin the whole time, arrived very early that morning. What happened next was a wonder to behold! They quickly put down sheets of plywood and them used walk behind power equipment in order to protect my lawn. My yard slopes so they had some digging to do to make everything level using the bottom step of the deck as their point of reference. They dug quickly and precisely putting piles of dirt around the perimeter so that I would have dirt to shore up the sides where the yard slopes away and make landscape beds around the sides. The rest was hauled away. They quickly spread the gravel which they had brought with them when they arrived. The concrete came and they were pouring about two hours after they started! The longest time period was the time waiting for the concrete to be ready to work and finish. They were completely finished with the work, had picked up the sheets of plywood, left no messes, and were on their way well before noon. I have never seen a crew work together so well, each knowing what he needed to do and when. The finished product is very nice. The bottom step of my deck is the level of the patio and the patio butts right up to the step. The patio is absolutely level so I have no puddles! I worked with the dirt that was left, edged the resulting beds with paver stones, purchased plants and have a lovely patio in my back yard. I have nothing but good things to report. I absolutely recommend O'Leary Concrete Company LLC!"

"After having a few concrete contractors come out to assess and bid on our job, Garrett was the most professional and most competitively priced. I would definitely use this company again in the future. They took time to understand what we were envisioning from the border, to the staining colors etc. They were always ontime and completed everything as laid out in our contract. Professional and super nice people with outstanding work. Would definitely recommend!"

"Excellent customer service by phone.  But... please read it all! <br> <br>Good on site explanation of the process involved, with some omissions.  (Those of us who do not do this work for a living do not know everything to ask!)  A hole is drilled into the concrete slab so a nozzle can be inserted and their material can be pumped under the slab, which will raise it to the proper level.  The hole is about the size of your pinky.  The tech who is doing the job will then add a little sand to conceal this small hole as much as possible.  THIS IS TRUE.   <br> <br>What is also true:  The material pumped under the slab has a very sticky nature and the overspray sticks to the area around the pinky hole.  This allows the sand to stick to the surface around the hole leaving a spot about the size of your palm.  We're 'assuming' this will wear away in time. <br>It is also true the slab being corrected can crack when it's being raised. <br> <br>It is also true the drill will pierce the concrete and can sever a wire under your sidewalk.  Yes... it did. <br>This knocked an electric post lantern out of service in our front yard.  Certainly  not life threatening, but c'mon. <br>Once we had figured out what happened, I contacted Acculevel and was 'well treated' in the sense I was given the impression Acculevel would make it right. <br>I had a professional electrician (all A's on Angie's List) inspect the situation and I was given a "repair" quote and a "perfection" quote.  The repair quote was $260 and would restore the light to the way the builder had installed it.  The perfection quote was around $900 and would get the electric line buried deeper and placed in conduit, rather than simple UF cable.  I asked Acculevel to pay for the repair, and told them I would most likely pay the electrician to do the perfection version. <br> <br>Acculevel determined they should pay half of the repair quote.  I do not know their formula for calculating how much of the severed electric line was my fault, but that's what they came up with.  You decide. <br> <br>I also asked Acculevel why they did not have the area marked prior to the work.  (Our work involved drilling through the slabs... the lantern was right next to the sidewalk... and our work involved digging a trench to extend a downspout further into our yard and under the sidewalk.  So... there's a fair amount of digging involved in this job and plenty of reason to call before you dig.  811)   <br>Acculevel's response was: 'We don't do that.' <br> <br>So the "Slab-Jack" work they did was done well.  But I can't give them an A because of the damage done.  They were very responsive to me from the quoting stage all the way through the final disappointment.  So, they get an A for that. <br>I gave them a C for professionalism because C is average.  I thought I was working with an above average company but I don't feel they handled the problems professionally. <br>I feel the right thing to do would have been to pay the entire repair amount of $260 without protest. <br>I feel they should always call 811 to have an area marked when they will be digging OR drilling.  (It's free!  And, it would have saved me $900.) <br>IF YOU ARE WORKING WITH ACCULEVEL (OR ANY LANDSCAPER OR CONTRACTOR WHO IS GOING TO BE DIGGING OR DRILLING ON YOUR  PROPERTY) ASK THEM IF THEY WILL HAVE YOUR PROPERTY MARKED IN ADVANCE OF THE JOB.  IF THEY SAY NO, EITHER FIND ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER OR CALL 811 YOURSELF!  It's just common sense! <br> <br>I actually WOULD hire Acculevel again, and I recommend them!  BUT - ASK EVERY QUESTION YOU CAN THINK OF and BEWARE that somehow severed electrical lines... TV cables... invisible fences... gas lines... and more, are NOT their fault.  To Acculevel: I would seriously recommend putting the 811 call into your standard procedure.  It would give you a REAL disclaimer to stand on should a line be damaged and was NOT marked.  Also - place some sort of protector sheet on the slab (maybe with a stick back) BEFORE you drill through it.  The protector sheet will catch most of the overspray and leave a neater look behind.  Rather than a sloppy finish. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>"

"We just had our 900’ long driveway completed. The Fugate team does excellent work. It was a big project that took five days to complete at about 200’ per day with a crew of six or seven long term employees with a lot of experience. They worked very well together as a team. Set the forms the day before, concrete arrived early the next morning, they placed and finished that days concrete, and set the next day’s forms. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Excellent. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend them. After the work was done I could not find any evidence that major tree work was done- no wood chips, branches, or even leaves were on the ground. Perfectly done."

"These guys were amazing. Curt came out to survey the project then got back to us with a quote and software design visual in a timely manner. (Note: the other companies we approached did not offer the software visual - so important to understanding what you are paying for - and did not get back to us in a timely manner. One company didn't bother to follow up at all.) What made part of our project a little unusual is that we were asking them to complete a six foot landscape wall we had begun several years ago and had not gotten around to finishing. They used what materials we already had on site, adding their own to blend in as necessary, and made the area look 100x better than it had previously. They also installed a beautiful paver walkway, small raised bed flower area with stone walls, a paver pad for our trash cans, and drainage tile with pop-up drain for heavy rains that siphoned the water away from the garage, with mulch and river stone as design elements. The crew was also polite, professional, on time and neat. It was obvious they took great pride in their work. We cannot recommend Creech Landscaping too highly. We would definitely hire them again!"

"It was mixed. The finished product looked good. I was unhappy with some of the things that happened along the way. Because of the experience, they should have anticipated some things. It was a good thing that I was actually there to answer questions and make modifications. They caused some damage and it took a long time to get the damage corrected."
