"We had a large Playhouse built on our property. It was basically a small house insulation drywall siding shingle roof windows air-conditioning. Dave Farmer showed up on time with his helper. Took them an hour and a half to completely finish the job. The work was very organized. They hauled off all the debris. I watch them do most of the demolition. I was very impressed. They are very polite and the cost was reasonable. well worth the money. They also do home improvement just about anything. Thank you, Dave for a job well done. I will definitely use them again."

"Called for septic pumping. Company was late for first time frame. Have a later time and missed that one as well showed up an hr and a half later. No greeting when they arrived, just jumped out and started dragging hoses to the tanks. Tanks were already opened by us. No discount for opening tanks. Upon finishing they had no cement to seal the lids( they ran out). While dragging hoses back to truck they leaked sewage out of every hose(black and very noticeable) when I asked if they had some lime to spread over the spills they said they ran out of that as well. Lime and cement are required by the Health Department on all septic trucks. This review in no way means I would not use this company again, only that this company should take the time to train their employees how to properly represent the company."

"Champion Roofing replaced the roof on our house a couple of months before we purchased it and included a long-term warranty. Our home inspector noticed that water was pooling on part of the roof, and the warranty should cover improper installation leading to water retention. Shortly after completing the sale, we reached out to Champion to register the warranty. Tina confirmed that this would be no problem, and she would start working on the paperwork. We mentioned the pooling water, and she told us that her boss (Chris, the owner) was out of town. He would get back to us upon his return. A week later, we had heard nothing about either the water or the warranty. This began two months of getting the run around. We would call, be told that the warranty was in process and Chris would reach out shortly, and then nothing would happen. This week, a branch fell on our roof, puncturing it in two places. Obviously, the warranty doesn’t cover that, but this finally prompted Chris to visit our home. I suppose he saw an opportunity to get paid again. He quoted a price for the puncture repair, and we asked him about the pooling water. His curt and rather rude response was, “That’s normal. It’s a flat roof. What do you expect?” I pointed at the even flatter carport roof that the same team installed right next to the pooling water and said, “That roof is also flat, but it doesn’t hold water.” I told Chris that his response was not acceptable. He then described what he thought he could do, but said, “It won’t fix the problem.” He then sent us a proposal costing an additional $500, knowing that by his own admission it would probably be insufficient. We told that a properly installed roof shouldn’t retain pools of standing water for more than 48 hours and that the installation company should fix such deficiencies in their work when they arise. You can clearly see a dip between the edge and the center of that section of roof. Contrary to Chris’s claim, it isn’t a flat roof. Due to his bad installation, it is a dipping roof. Additionally, when installing the carport roof, the crew did not take care to align their nails to the trusses, so there are long roofing nails poking through the underside of the ceiling in multiple locations. It’s quite ugly. To resolve the punctures made by the fallen branch, we hired a different company that came to fix the damage within a few hours, and they charged us less than half of what Chris quoted us. Clearly, the roof was not installed properly, and we are quite disappointed that Champion refuses to address their mistakes. Other homeowners should beware especially if your home doesn’t have a steep roof, if you care about what the finished product looks like, or if you value prompt and courteous customer service."

"I’ve used many cleaning services as well as single housekeepers throughout the years, & struggled to find one who didn’t let quality slip after the first few months. Well, I found them, & they are Jessie’s. I’ve truly never been happier & can’t say enough about the level of detail they reach - my husband even notices (! ?); the team is always polite, thorough, responsive, thorough, professional, thorough, sweet, thorough...you get the message. They are all the things on your “wish list” & then some! They always want me to check to see if anything was missed or if I want something done differently, but there never is anything missed & nothing ever has to be done differently. From baseboards to the insides of windows (on rotation) - & the insides & outsides of glass doors (!) - to washing down every kitchen cabinet to scrubbing my cooktop to like-new, to reaching every speck of dust, to even washing the glass I left in the sink (!!), my house really does SPARKLE after they’ve been here. Yes, this company is more expensive than others...but after all my decades on earth, I’ve learned that you really do get what you pay for. And with Jessie’s, that’s miles past any other housekeeping company out there. THEY ARE SOOOO WORTH THE PRICE! Oh! They can also do more! They can send someone to clean your carpets, help you move large items, get you ready for a garage sale, pressure wash, and on & on & on. Truly full-service. I can’t say enough good things about them. My dogs even love it when they are here! ? If you need your house deep-cleaned & then kept this way, hire Jessie’s & you will be very happy you did."

"I was at first hesitant to use Shapell's due to the bad reviews I've seen, but due to my narrow driveway their 11 yard dumpster was the only one that would fit. My interactions with the company were nothing but positive. They responded quickly and professionally to my call. I ordered my dumpster they said it would likely be five to seven days before it was delivered--they called me in three days with one available. Their price was by far cheaper than any other company I called (five other companies). When I was finished with the dumpster I called and they arrived the next day to pick up the dumpster. Two or three weeks after the pick up I received a tonnage refund check from Shapell's (they make you pay up front tonnage fee that will likely be larger than you'll use)."
