Customers say: Quick response

"I had a rather small project for a retaining wall, and Perez Landscaping was perfect for the task. Ramiro the owner answered my request on Sunday, came out to scope the project on Monday, and had it done by Wednesday! That’s kind of unheard of these days for landscape projects. Ramiro and his team were so nice, so efficient, and didn’t damage any of my landscaping in the process. Price was very fair and the result was just what I was looking for. Thank you Perez Landscaping, I will definitely call them again if I need a project done (they do fences, too!). And thanks to Anji for their help in finding these guys - gives a level of safety to me knowing they’ve been checked out!"

"They came out and gave a quote for replacing our entire backyard sod with new sod. They showed up on time, did a great job and cleaned up when done. Their price was the best I was able to find."

"I needed my front yard bushes and shrubs trimmed and trimmings hauled away. I used Mayan previously for the last 3 years. The did a satisfactory job, however they invoiced me for over double the amount I paid previously when they did both the front and backyards. I found out that they overstated the labor hours and trimmings. Their labor rate was increased by nearly 25% over the previous year, 2024. His labor rate is now $155/hour. My previous year they charged me $300 for the total service front and backyard. This year, Robert invoiced me for over $700 for service just for the front yard. After several negotiations back and forth, Robert agreed to reducing his rate to $600, which is still double what I paid the previous year for more services. Robert was very difficult to work with and accused me of being dis-honest, when it was he who was overcharging me for landscaping services. Needless to say, I will not ever use him in the future. My neighbor who also used his services will not be using him again. I will not recommend Mayan landscaping again due to him overcharging for his services."

"I contracted to have part of my driveway replaced, install a new RV pad, and a pad poured for a shed that would be installed in my backyard. This was the lowest bid I received of the three. Things that I should have had included in the written contract: 1. There would be communication between the company and the homeowner via email and text (I sent emails and texts with no response). Responses to emails will be received within 48 hours. 2. Work would be SCHEDULED, workers would not just show up to work on random days. (Initial work was scheduled for June 2&3, cement was poured on 6/4) 3. Plastic would be put on house to reduce overspray, and any overspray of concrete will be removed by company. 4. Drains will be BURIED after trenching with no portion of the horizontal drain being visible. 5. Workers will not "hop the fence" and open gates to work in the backyard without homeowners knowledge, without being scheduled (they trespassed in my backyard and did work not requested, then nailed my gate closed) 6. Do the work ON the contract, no add work (The company put down weed block and rocks around the shed and over the unburied drain in order to not bury the drain pipe,. I DID NOT request rock around the shed. I only wanted weed block and rock on either side of the RV pad). 7. The 8X10 pad for the shed was level, but was to square. When the shed was installed this resulted in a gap in the shed bottom to the cement, allowing for rodents and bugs entry to under the shed. 8. NO work will take place unless scheduled with homeowner (I emailed with out of town dates and a list of things to be completed, requesting a scheduled time. Workers came while I was gone and did work not specified in the contract and nailed my gate shut). 9. As per our discussion during the estimate, the gate will be adjusted to the height of the cement, knowing that there are small dogs in the house, so bottom needs to be close to the cement. Israel said "he'd take care of me".... They cut the bottom of the pickets of the gate at an angle with about 8" of space between concrete and gate at the center. Israel said it was because my property was not level. Wendy said they could replace the pickets, Israel said I would need to pay the company to fix/rebuild the gate. Eventually he agreed to a $500.00 credit for me to repair the gate (Tholl fence quote sent to Israel was $3800.00 to rebuild the gate). 10. Do a complete clean up of materials. (Refused to remove the overspray of the cement from the house. Did not finish the cleanup of the job). 11. Only do the work specified in the contract. (Removed the pebbled 2' of concrete on the side of the portion of the concrete they were contracted to remove in my driveway. This was decorative and balanced the driveway)."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Fernley, NV

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
