"My husband found him and he did a good job. The guys were nice. They took out my mother's windows which were whole windows because I guess they were saving some of the glass, but they did a good job. I was here when the men were at work. They were cautious. The problem was when they did my siding, they didn't tell me to take down the plates off my wall and I thought that was not right because if they are hammering on my wall, I've got plates on the other side hanging which was worth a lot of money, and that's not really great. I even said to him that he should have told me to take my plates. He said he didn't even think about that. He was hammering on the side and anything on the walls would throw out around the house. The roof looks really nice. It looks good. It was a very big project. I wasn't here for most of it but I was here after a while because I had to go to North Carolina, my brother was in the hospital for a while. I wasn't here but my husband was. We have a long driveway so we allowed them to put the truck in the yard to make the work a little easier than trying to put it into the street. The guys were really good. Some of the guys who came were Spanish but they understood and they worked as a team. I never saw a team that really worked together and this team really worked together and talked to each other. When there was a problem, they always talked about it or called the boss because most of the time the boss wasn't here because he was in another job, but his men were always here and always on time and punctual. They should have told me to take the things off the walls that they were going to bang on. I would have been a little nicer if they told me. We also got screen doors on each side of the house so that was nice and we have a nice door. Our front door still has a skeleton key to get in to, but it's still a nice, strong door so I wouldn't change it for nothing."

"We did not have the best luck getting a timely response, Arthur suggested meeting at a nursery but as we tried to finalize a date/time he revised and said he was not available that week.  Three attempts (two emails and one voicemail) to get him to contact me on my cell phone (since I was repeatedly away from my email) got no response.  His final response suggested he was unaware we had tried to contact him and thought we had gone with someone else but he made to effort to reach out to us even though we had told him we wanted to move forward and were trying to arrange a time.  In my opinion he assumed that since we been unable to connect on the first couple attempts that we had gotten frustrated and found another contractor, either he didn't care enough about our business or was too busy to care.  We had gotten three estimates  and this one was in the middle of the range suggesting the pricing was probably at least fair though without seeing his work that is an incomplete assessment. <br />"

"The company was very good about getting back to me in a timely manner when I began our relationship. The owner, Matt, is very personable and has met with me a couple of times to discuss our needs and limited budget.  Up to this point I am very satisfied with his suggestions and with the crews that have come to our home.  All have been polite and considerate of our home and what is important to us.  There is considerable work that will be done over the next couple of months, so I will revisit the website later in the summer to update my review once we feel that there has truly been improvement to the visual appearance of our lawn, landscaping and plantings.  There is a great deal of work to be done and Matt has been great in keeping me informed of the process that will happen to get me to the result I am looking for. He also seems very amenable to listening to my concerns and answering my questions when I think something should be happening that isn't.   Just like everybody else, I want it all to happen "overnight" but do understand that it will take some time to get it looking like I want it to look.  After a couple of very nice but not very efficient dealings with two other companies, I am hoping that South Shore will be the company I stay with for years to come.  I wholeheartedly recommend Matt and his staff and am confident that I will finally get the exterior of my home to  the level that I am looking for within my limited budget. <br />"

"We had to cancel the first appointment for the install due to bad weather, but the company arranged to put the sprinklers in 2 days later. They were neat and polite and got the job done in one afternoon. Everything works great. They know their stuff! <br /> <br />"
