"I have done a lot of home renovation projects in the past, and I wish ALL contractors were like Mike. From start to finish of this ENORMOUS project, Mike was amazing to work with. He showed up when he said he was going to show up, he responded promptly to emails and texts, and he remembered all of the little details that we discussed along the way. His estimate was accurate and included all of the components that we talked about, and then we made some adjustments to the original estimate, which were also perfectly captured. And on top of all that, his quote/estimate was one of the most reasonable ones that we received (and we got 6 quotes). He was so knowledgeable with the information and advice that he provided, and I had complete trust that he would do a superb job. We had to move out of the house while the work was ongoing. He kept in touch the entire time, providing updates regularly. I never doubted that things were going well and according to plan. He had a team of two additional guys and they were also very pleasant and very hard working. And the work that was done was unbelievable quality. It looks so beautiful - a complete transformation of the home! In addition to the flooring, we paid Mike to install new 6 inch baseboards, which was a great addition. "We hired A Plus Floor Installation, Inc. based on the ratings. Originally we were going to hire them just for the floor work, but Cleber convinced us to use them for painting as well. At first the job started off well, however over the course of the job we struggled with communication and quality of work, particularly with the painting. The painters were sloppy throughout the house, damaged some of our furniture, lost items such as window openers, and did not speak english which made it tough for us to communicate with. After the first large part of the job was done it was tough to get them back to finish. When they did come to finish they tried to rush through the job and we ended up having to help them along to do the project. From a flooring prospective we were relativley happy. There were some things we did not love and we wish Cleber had done a better job of working with our GC to understand the vision of the house since some of the flooring work looks cheap. For example in our office we have oak furniture so Cleber should have recommended and installed oak quarter rounds instead of white quarter rounds. Overall I am sure A Plus Floor Installation, Inc. does well on smaller jobs but for a larger job that required higher end work i would recommend considering another pro"
