"Tom and Matt did an outstanding job refinishing the hardwood floors in my 100-yr-old house. Their work is clean and meticulous. Before sanding, they covered all walls and countertops with sheets of plastic and taped up all gaps beneath doors to prevent sawdust from getting into other parts of the house. It took a while, but they were able to remove most of the old pet urine stains in the hardwood floor of the kitchen. They even took the time to hand-sand between coats of polyurethane. You can't go wrong with these guys. They're conscientious, seem to take great pride in their work, and offer really fair pricing. In addition to refinishing the floors, they're painting several rooms and will also be painting the exterior of my house when it gets a little warmer."

Mauricio is very personable, easy to work with, and truly goes the extra mile to complete the job and make sure the customer is fully satisfied. The team removed debris, swept out the garage, cleaned and prepped the walls and ceiling, patched small holes, sanded surfaces, and properly primed everything before painting. They also took care of the doors and made sure the entire space looked clean, fresh, and professionally finished. Mauricio also helped us correct a town inspection issue by running the bathroom fan vent duct through the attic to the exterior, bringing the work into compliance. He handled it professionally and made sure the job was completed properly. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Mauricio’s Construction for garage prep, painting, repairs, venting and code-compliance work, and general home improvement projects."

"I had purchased a house about two years ago. The house is located in Bogota, Northern New Jersey and it was in good condition. However, gutters were a disaster. Leaks, broken angles, the whole lot. I had contacted at least 3 contractors about replacing the gutters, downspouts and putting gutter guards. Out of all of them, A1 Gutters LLC was the most professional, the most responsive and the most competitive in price. Once I contacted them through Home Advisor, they were able to squeeze me the next day. Danny, the owner was very eager to walk me through any questions or concerns that I had. At 7:30 am, they rang the bell, as per our agreement and were on their way to do their magic. Van, generator, tools, sealant, and everything needed for the job was provided by them. Hassle free and worry free. There were two employees at my site. They were so fast that within 2 hours they were able to take out the old gutters, install the new ones and put the gutter guards. I inspected the work afterwards and everything was just flawless. I really never write reviews, this is my first one. But, I was so happy with the price and the professional work this company did that I had to write it, in hopes that it might help first time home buyers, like myself choose a great company."
