He described in detail what he would do to complete the job. He would sand the old paint off, remove all loose paint chips until the railings were smooth to accept the new coats of paint. He recommended Direct to Metal (DTM) paint advising it was much better than rust oleum paint. I did my research and read the same thing so we went with the DTM paint and I’m glad we did.
