"The vehical was picked and delivered within the a scheduled time, and the delivery driver was very professional. He even provided disinfectant wipes to clean the steering wheel, shifter, doors and center console. If I need another car transported I would definitely hire UFA again."

"This is the kind of professionalism and courtesy you'd like to see whenever you need anything done. I did call a well known competitor first and there is no comparison in manner or price. If you need a softener you should give Adam a call."

"This moving group communicated well: before, during, and after the job. Everything was moved carefully without any items or property being damaged. They finished the job in a good timeframe. The movers were courteous and easy to work with."

"Terry came to the rescue again! Recent projects he has handled for us inclide: 1. A deck update. Some boards were in need of replacing 2. A complete bathroom remodel. He took a jack and jill bathroom and turned it into a beautiful handicap accessible bathroom and a powder room. 3. Total roof replacement, code compliant. He even installed a new metal roof. 4. Various electrical projects. Certain outlets needed updating, as well as some wiring issues. 5. Using his connections to reputable tradesman with other skills. Terry either fixes it himself or uses his friends and connections to find other tradesman who can get the job done. Fir example, he used a tile man on the bathroom project."

"Sam and his crew did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. Sam worked with us to get our project closer to our budget. Jeremy and Derrick were very professional, polite, and always cleaned up after they were done for the day. Jeremy went above and beyond finding us a door last minute and finding hardware for our tub that matched. We would definitely hire SKC again."

"Before I critique what didn't go well on the project, I'd first like to mention that the crew working at my house were kind, professional and did a great job of prep and clean up! However, there were certainly some disappointments and shortcomings which I experienced that I'd caution other potential customers. The project appeared to take much longer than anticipated due to a number of revisits for rework. On the first day, the fast drying mud/plaster wasn't drying in a timely manner as expected. I was told that it was unusual and they would need to come back another day as turning up the heat and blasting fans wouldn't expedite the process enough to continue that day. By that evening, in every room, the product developed air bubbles that were quite large (pictures 1 & 2). I don't know if this was due to a poor mix or application, but it certainly added time to rework on day 2 of the project. As day 2 of the project continued, I was sequestered to my office as there was work needed to be done in the hallway directly outside my door. By the time the crew notified me that I was able to come out, everything was completed including the tear down and clean up and the crew was out the door. There was no final walk through or discussion of the job. Sadly, as I inspected the work, I noticed that on one wall, the mud had been sprayed, but NOT knocked down to match the texture as had been done in all other areas (picture 3). If the crew or even the project manager assigned (who aside from showing up on day 1 during the prep time and then never seen again) had taken a few minutes to perform a final walk through, this may have been caught proactively. As it turned out, it required a third day of work to sand down and respray the mud to then knock it down. At the end of this effort, I was satisfied despite a bit of over spray that wasn't knocked down in certain areas as I knew once it was painted it would be decently disguised. Where my experience with JB Custom really becomes disappointing is in my follow up interactions. I requested a second quote to perform more of the same work as as we discovered the need during the first project. This effort was probably 20% (or less) of the effort of the first job, but the estimate came in at MORE than double the first job. Needless to say, I was a little shell shocked by the price. When I inquired about the disparity in price, I was told that the first job was under quoted and they spent far too many hours on the first project. The estimator went on to say that the first project should have likely been quoted at the price of the new project. I then asked for clarification as if that was the case, why would the second job be the same price for a fifth of the work. While I would not expect to pay a fifth of the price due to overhead and standard prep activities, perhaps half? The only response the estimator was able to give was "At the end of the day we are a business and we need to make money, ya know?". At that point, I realized that there wasn't much value in attempting work with the estimator or continue the dialogue. In this scenario, it feels as I the customer is being punished for the additional time booked to the project which perhaps could have been avoided with improved craftsmanship and less or no rework along with more proactive project management. The frustrating part of this scenario is that I acted in good faith and didn't complain about cracks in the knockdown texture that are literally a few inches from a big patch (~2.5ft x 4ft) that the crew addressed. I assumed that since we'd be doing business again in the near future, we'd catch it on the second go around. I also pointed these items out to the estimator for the second job and even inquired on the phone while discussing the second estimate, but never received an answer about that work that wasn't performed (pictures 4, 5, 6). Now I'm left to find a different company to perform the new work, but also address the items left by JB Custom."

"Joel was very prompt to respond and great with communication. He moved the job up a few days when we had a storm coming A+++. Unfortunately I have a leaky seam in my gutters and although he added fresh silicone to the seam it is still leaking. I was unable to stay while he finished the job or I would have asked him to test it. I had a feeling the old caulk needed removal before add a fresh layer. Too bad because we are having terrible leaks and ice build up on the drive now. Leaf removal from front yard and driveway to street $65 A job Gutter cleaning $75 A job Seam sealed with my fresh tube of silicone and caulk gun $20 Failed to work"

"Dave responded very quickly to my call. Came at my convenience. Over the course of two days probably spent 6-7 hours working on my projects - including going above and beyond to get information from a manufacturer - so the price was extremely reasonable. Nice guy. II'll call him again.

"Chris did a thorough job repairing gaps in caulking, a hold in the siding and a hole on a fireplace place cap hole. He was easy to communicate with and empathetic to my concerns. I highly recommend Chris for anyone in need of a handyman service."
