"I wish I could give this company a wonderful review. But, that is not going to be the case. Our System Pavers salesman, Mr. Mike Ammenwerth, took care of drawing up the plans. He was nice enough... However, communicating with him afterward was, in fact, a challenge in itself. We signed the contract for our Paver project, which included Pergola Patio Cover, which turned out to be a separate project. We were assigned a couple of *project managers*... First, it was Beau Johnston, the Repair Technician, who had to be pulled off the job, then it was Mr. Zakk Schot who ended up being our primary point-of-contact for the majority of the project. We also had interaction with the company Contraction Manager, Mr. Frank Gori. All in all... Communication was spotty at best throughout this experience (with the exception of dealing with Zakk). The Pergola patio cover became an issue as time went on. We advised Mike Ammenwerth that we wanted additional shade than we were receiving from our existing wooden patio cover. Mike told us *no problem* and recommended the Pergola. Well, the Pergola, once it was installed, sat higher (taller) with a less angle and, frankly, provided less shade (or really no shade) when we compared it to our old patio cover. It is attractive looking without question... However, now we have to install roll down shades to the sides and front of our beautiful patio cover. Not what we expected at all. Our patio cover faces to the South. So... Be very much aware of which side of the house YOU intend on the installation of the very same product. Had I done more research on companies that perform this very same type of service, I would have saved myself a heck of a lot of money. System Pavers profit markup is outrageous (I found out after-the-fact). The company itself only hires subcontractors for their work. The paver subcontractor (Mr. Rozival Sousa of Paver Performance, Lic #1060961) asked me what I paid for our paving contract... He gave me a *look*, then told me that he could have done it for half the price with the very same material and guarantees. Lesson learned. This company depends on the ignorance of the client. The subcontractor, and his team, did a reasonably nice job with our paving project. However, they were very sloppy with the concrete residue left behind on all edges of the paver boundaries. They also left lots of rock and sand that we had to clean up. We filled 3 large trash cans and still had more to go. Some sprinkler pipes were broken as well... However, those were repaired. For the price I (we) paid for this construction project, I certainly expected more attention to detail when it was all said and done. Would recommend this company to someone else? Probably not. Do your research! More importantly, take several bids from various companies. You will eventually discover that System Pavers is way overpriced."

"Overall the project was fantastic, and Seth was great to work with. From taking the concept my wife had, Seth drew up a plan with everything she asked for, and we were able to scale back where needed for budgeting purposes, so he helped us rework from the original design to where we ultimately landed. Timing - he began on time, and finished early. Project lasted a total of 5 weeks. Budget - he was spot on to the original budget. We did make changes to some items, and he kept a running change list that was helpful to keep us on track. Team - The guys were amazing, and took exceptional pride in their work. I got to chat them up quite a bit, and they’ve been with Seth for many years - which was an awesome sign, because I’m guessing you don’t stay of things aren’t going well. They were here everyday from 7-3:30, and the few times that they weren’t, we had a heads up. We even got a heads up when it wouldn’t be the full crew. Communication - pretty sharp, zero complaints here. We knew what was going on, when it was happening, and Seth was here almost everyday for at least a period of time. Overall, they were great - and we will use them again for our front yard, hopefully sooner rather than later."

"Barely a month ago we first contacted System Pavers to consider having them replace our driveway. Today, I signed off on completion of the project, which was extremely smooth from start to finish. When James Jordan, our design consultant first met with us via video conference, he already had Google images of our property, and was therefore well prepared to discuss what we wanted to do. Based on that meeting, he prepared a first draft plan for what we wanted, which he brought to our home only about 3 days later, along with material samples. At the end of that marathon meeting, we had a game plan for a 2- or 3-phase project: first replacing our driveway and then -- if we were satisfied with phase 1, moving on to the back patio and yard. Two weeks later, construction started, with Jimmy Jackson as our Project Manager and Temo as his crew chief, and now -- less than a week later, everything is completed and beautiful. During the course of construction, we encountered a couple of minor glitches -- nothing major -- and each time, Jimmy's attitude (and that of everyone working with him) was, "no problem -- we can fix that." Meanwhile, our neighbors have been working (with a different company!) on a similar project for the past 4+ months. Needless to say, they are in awe of how quickly our transformation was completed!"

"Efraim and his crew were amazing!  I have done a lot of remolding and landscape work over the years and it's rare to find that special combination of professionalism, skill, honesty, and good communication.  They cleaned up beautifully each day, and were very careful of my plants, making sure they were watered by hand when the irrigation lines had to be moved.  Efraim is a good communicator, and made sure I understood what was going on at every stage of the project.  He really knows what he is doing, and best of all - he enjoys his work,  making it a pleasure to do business with him.  I will use Egald concrete again on future projects. <br />"

"The Belmans did an amazing job of installing pavers and decorative walls. They were very easy to work with, they explained everything clearly. Alexis came by to check on the crew and made sure that we were informed of the job that took about 2 weeks to complete. We needed cement and brick work for our backyard, and after reading the positive reviews on Yelp and Angie’s List we contacted Gaston. He came to our home, and patiently answered any question pertaining to what kind of outcome we could expect. Having dealt with a less-than-stellar masonry contractor in the past, my guard was up, but Gaston put me at ease, with his kind manner and professionalism. He inspected the project and sent us a bid. His — not the cheapest quote we received—but compared to the others masonry companies, we had a gut feeling he was the best person for the job. We were right. Gaston and his crew of three; are polite, trustworthy, hard-working, top-notch professionals, and to quote another reviewer on Yelp, Gaston (and his team) exceeded our expectations. It is also true, that he kept us up to date on the progress. Moreover, when he says he and his guys will be there – he means it. None of this crap that many contractors are notorious for – about showing up on a specific day or time, and they are very late or a complete no-show. In addition, you are lucky to get a phone call; otherwise, it seems you are trying to reach them. And the job lags and lags = frustration on the homeowner’s part. This was not the case with Gaston. He was at our home for the 3-days the project ran. Not that his crew needed instruction (they are all very good at their job), but it gives a homeowner piece-of-mind, to have the contractor on premises. After a day’s work, his crew cleaned up our property thoroughly. We will be using Bachelier & Son’s Masonry again for another project. I also have to concur with another Yelp reviewer: That Gaston does not run from job to job, he stays focused on his current project – which will be yours if you smart enough to hire him. And we hope you do! To borrow a quote, “The Bitterness of Poor Quality Remains, Long After the Sweetness of Low Price Is Forgotten.” And poor quality is not synonymous with, Bachelier & Son’s Masonry. Mrs. B"
